Re: Grey's Anatomy

yikes WHAT???

Woohoo! That's GREAT!!! I missed Amy sooo much! And just the other day I found out that that guy who used to play Sean Potter (Maxine's Boss) is now some bad guy in Jericho. That made me angry. BUT if Amy's in the Spin-Off cast I'd definitely watch it. And if Becky's part of it too, it's even better!

Tina? wink

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Becky was a guest patient, unfortunately, so she won't be around.  But the cool ironic thing is that Amy will be playing alongside Tim Daly, who's Tyne Daly's baby brother.  And of course Tyne played Amy's mom on JA.  I LOVE that.

Oh, and Mr. Chris Lowell will be the resident hottie on the show, it appears.  He's a floppy-haired surfder dude and he makes all the women drool.  There's a hilarious scene where he's shirtless and Addison, Amy and the other chick are watching him get ready to go out surfing.  Amy says "There'll be another show in an hour.  And it'll be wet."  LOL!  He is pretty ripped.

Aw, what a coincidence! LOL I LOVED Tyne Daly on Judging Amy, she was my favorite character.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Yeah, Tyne's character on JA was my favorite too.  Been a Tyne fan since I was a kid.  Of course Cagney & Lacey is one of mye ALL TIME favoirte shows.  That's why my dog's named Lacey.  big_smile

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Yeah, I know that. I actually think I've seen that show sometimes. I used to watch a lot of American cop shows from the 70ies during holidays at my grandma's house when I was little. That was cool, actually. LOL

Re: Grey's Anatomy

It was an 80's show.  From 82-89, I think.  Something like that.  And then there were a few movies in the 90's.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Teejay, whenever you get around to making Anne's next Grey's DVD, can you make one for me of the last 5 eps?  I didn't realize tonight's season finale was two hours long and I'm not taping it, had to switch over to the season finale of ER halfway through.  I missed one when we were in Iowa too.  And my attention to the show hasn't been perfect lately either.   I'd really appreciate it.

Just let me know which episodes you need and I'll send them to you, Deb. No prob. Anne, I better send you the next DVD when all the season finales have aired. Shouldn't be long now.

Yeah, I thought that was clear. I'll send the list either. Could you maybe put the ER finale on one of the DVDs too? I read some spoilers, I really like to see it. wink

Re: Grey's Anatomy

The last 5.  That's what I need.  The season finale for Grey's & ER was last night.  Didn't like the ER one very much.  The ending was so incredibly hokey I actually laughed when I was supposed to be upset.  Should've stuck with Grey's.  Joe won't tell me what happened.  sad

Re: Grey's Anatomy

I'm watching GA right now. I've already watched the two-parter (what a sad and shocking ending!), I'll watch the last ep I have in a second. The rest I still have to download. And of course I recognized Lowell and Becky. Both were great. As to the Lowell naked torso shot... LOL! Too bulky for my taste, though. Nice abs, but I prefer slender guys. Or let's say "slenderer" guys. Gimme a naked torso Keith over a naked torso Dell any day. wink

And if you wanna know what I'm talking about, have a look at Dell with his surfboard:

Re: Grey's Anatomy

I just watched the season finale. SPOILERS TO FOLLOW!

Hm..... So George is really gonna leave? And I don't really get it. And he CAN'T leave, he's my favorite character!! Did Derek decline the job as chief before Callie was announced or did Derek get the offer because Callie's pregnant? To me it wasn't quite clear of the talks that the chief had with the attendings were flashbacks or not. Didn't see the Burke/Christina thing coming either. Whoa. Things are really falling apart, aren't they? And, dude, Alex! Moron!!!

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Well, I don't KNOW that. But they set it up as if he will. You don't really know as the episode ends, but he's clearing out his locker. If he stays, he's sure gonna have a tough year ahead of him.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Yeah, he failed his intern exam, so he either has to leave or do his internship year over. He might be doing that, at least that way he can stay in the hospital. But there's also something else going on with Callie and Izzie that might prompt him to leave. Let's just say his life got a whole lot more complicated. And I really don't know with whom I want him to be.

And relax, Anne. All the shows have aired their season finales now. I'll send you your stuff next week if I get to leave work early enough to make it to the post office. Because I have a feeling I will be working overtime pretty much every day next week. My to-do list is humongous after that kick-off meeting on Thu and Fri. And you know the post office closes at 6, which really sucks.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

No hurry. I think I will survive until next week. I am still in class during the day, so I won't have much time to watch TV, you know ...

Yeah, I read about that Izzie/Callie thing. And Callie is pregnant now? I wonder who's the father? Or no, I don't wonder, I don't really wanna know. LOL Well, I guess I just have to wait and see. I am stil behind a few episodes after all.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

I only saw the first hour, but Nicole filled me in at work.  As for who's leaving and why and all that.  As far as the behind the scenes stuff goes, Katherine Heigl has re-upped her contract.  She'll be back.  Isaiah Washington may only be back on a semi-regular basis.  And TR has NOT signed a new contract.  It's still totally up-in-the air whether he'll be back as of now.

Well, I would be very sad if TR left the show but I can also understand that he might want to do something different after three years on the same show.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

If TR leaves, I don't think it'll be because he's bored with the show.  I think it'll be because he doesn't really wanna be around Isaiah.  I wish they'd just let Isaiah go.  Maybe that's the plan and that's why the Christina/Burke thing fell apart.  The show would easily survive without him.  But I'm not sure how much I'll care about it if TR leaves.  And I bet a TON of viewers besides us feel that way.

Yeah, there are a lot of discussions like that on imdb. I thought about that too actually. It would be very sad if that was the real reason for him to quit. I mean, they're actors. They should be professional.

Re: Grey's Anatomy

Yes, it's sad.  But I don't know what I'd do if I were TR.  I mean, would you wanna work in an environment where you know one person is going to constantly be saying (or at least thinking ) disparaging things about you over something that's just part of who you are?
