hope ya like it!!! I had LOADS of fun drawing it hehehe it made me crack up laughing when I was done with it.
Oh and I was rewatching JOA on my DVD player finally from the beginning because when I first watched the whole series it was online on youtube with cruddy grainy detail and some missing parts and I couldnt always hear it very well.... but re watching it this time I came to two conclusions:
In the episode of The Fire & The Wood (2nd ep 1st season)
A. Adam Roves art shed scares the BEJESUS out of me! I would be terrified to be in there because of all the sharp objects (such as his works of art) being the clumsy fool that I am. I KNOW I would hurt myself LMFAO!
B. Mime God is F-ING HILARIOUS!!!!

I've been re-watching the entire series with my mother over the past couple weeks (I got her SOO hooked... she even play's "spot the Chris" when I put in his other movies... lol)
We just did season 2 ep 19 & 20 today... :sob: ... we're doing the final 2 episodes tommorow morning when I get out of work..
It's funny how many times I can watch this show (over and over again) and never get tire of it.. lol
I also watched Alpha Dog for the first time today... I've owned it for ages, just hadn't gotten around to watching it yet...
Chris on the spring board = BEST PART OF THE MOVIE!! LMAO!!!

I love his very first scene, and when he has that girl pinned to the wall while wearing no shirt and with his pants falling off. He's just great in that movie. And adorable.
But JoA is still my favorite.

But I think its the light-hearted amusing moments that cause this movie to be so shocking and emotional. I have said it before but the movie does sweep you up into that world and you really do believe that its all going to be ok, and then when he is killed you just feel so guilty for enjoying the time before that, even though you knew he was a kidnap victim. That was the way I felt anyway. Just brilliantly done

That's exactly what I meant. The guys talked about that in interviews. I think Chris's character is pivotal because he is the embodiment of that. He goes from goofy party-boy, to terrified closed-up little kid. It's a great performance. That's what I always come away with when I watch it.

definitely deep and dark with just enough humor and lightheartedness to show the transition and heavy contrast of the film as it progresses and changes.... I LOVED IT!! Chris is always amazing though... I KNEW I'd love it regardless LMFAO XD

Welcome! Great answers. Are you watching the marathon on SyFy tomorrow? I'll be there watching with Leesey just for the fun of seeing it and talking about it with a Chris fan who's experiencing Out Of Sight through Friday Night for the first time.
So glad you delurked! How long have you been hanging around?

Leesey and I did the marathon and then I realized I could send her the rest of S2 over YM as AVI files. We're marathoning on our own now. We're on dinner break right at the moment. LOL! Then the JoA Butt-Numb-A-Thon continues with Game Theory.

Hey, all!
My name is Olivia, 25, from MA. I've been creeping around here a bit, so figured I should introduce myself Here are my questionnaire responses...
What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
Just Friends
What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
Joan of Arcadia -- I like that you get to see his character really develop over time
What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
When Joan asks if he wants her to like Iris and he says, "No...I want you to like me." aaaawww
Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Again, Adam since you get to see the character develop so much and the romance is so cute. He's super funny though and you don't get to see that all that much in JoA, so my second fav would def be his role in Just Friends -- he's hillarious!
Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris? What site did you land on?
I think I looked at IMDB first, then this one
What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
Ok, this is going to sound completely random, so I'll put it in context a little bit: My favorite book ever is "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle. It struck me that Chris would do an awesome job in the role of Schmendrick the bumbling wizard/magician. If you've ever read it, you know that this character is both tragic and comical, and Chris has more than proven himself capable of handling roles that are emotionally complex. And for anyone who's seen the animated film, much as I love it, they of course dumbed the story down immensely and cut out a lot of the storyline about this character, so read the book before you think I'm a total weirdo
Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
Just Friends and Alpha Dog
Own any Chris movies?
Joan of Arcadia, Just Friends, Alpha Dog, FanBoys, the Girl Next Door, and I've ordered and am impatiently awaiting the arrival of The Education of Charlie Banks and Infestation
What do you like most about Chris?
I like that he has played a such variety of characters and demonstrated his ability to handle emotionally complex roles. It seems like he is continually challenging himself since he continues to go for different roles and try new things; I really like that. So many actors seem to play the same role over and over again; I enjoy that everytime we see him, it's totally new everytime. Very cool.
If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
"Want to hang out sometime?" j/k Oh gosh, I dunno...probably just about what he's listening to and reading these days. He seems to be quite the avid reader based on what's in the interviews and whatnot on here and my degree is in English lit so...yeah...
What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)
I guess I already kind of answered this with the Last Unicorn thing (j: a fantasy film), though a romantic comedy would be fun to see if he were the lead -- bring back a little Adam to set all our hearts aflutter
