Woah, maybe I'm slow but I just found out that it was directed by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. That scared me a bit at first. Hhah But it looks like it's going to be good.

I can only say what I've been saying on IMDb for the last couple of years. Forget where he came from. He's a different guy behind a camera. And this movie is reportedly really good. At the Tribeca Film Festival in 2007, it won the Made in NYC award and got tons of great reviews. It is nothing like you might expect from Fred. Jason Ritter's getting incredible notices for his work. And Chris is really proud and supportive of the movie too, that's always a good sign.

It's okay, you can say that I'm slow. But I hadn't heard of the movie until a few months ago and just today is when I actually looked it up. And I haven't nothing against him, just a surprised. It's cool that Durst is doing some different things which he seems to be good at and likes. So yeah either way I'm looking forward to see it.

Fred had a small part on House last year, very unshowy. Cool. I'm not a fan or anything, but I do love the video for Break Stuff. Very cathartic. When I heard about this movie, I only approached it as a Chris movie. Could not have cared less who was directing. I never wanted to be in the business of defending Fred Durst. If the movie sucked, I'd be right there blasting him with everyone else. Like say, I don't know... David Goyer. But word is TEOCB is great. So I can't wait. In fact it has long been THE one I was looking forward to because it's deeper and there's more Chris in it than anything we've seen in a long, long time.

I think the guy who took it never answered my question when I asked if I could upload it to our gallery, that's why it's not in there.
Also, I found this on a website:
Studio: Anchor Bay Entertainment
Genre: Drama
MPAA Rating: R
Director: Fred Durst
Theatrical Release: 3/27/2009
Home Video Release: 6/30/2009source: http://videodetective.com/?src=XML&Cust … dID=915738
So is that the DVD release date, June 30? Sean's birthday! Could of course only be a random date since the people doing the official Facebook don't know the DVD release date yet. Though I've also found the same date on this site: http://www.dvdboxoffice.com/926-6141626 … 59?fs=true

June 30th is the US DVD release date per the industry ad posted below.

Boy does that ad bring back memories for me. Looks like a page out of the weekly pre-book catalog we'd get from Ingram, with the "marketing highlights" and pre-book date. Sigh. I miss being in the video biz.
Nice that there'll be a commentray and some behind the scenes stuff, but I'm sure it'll all be about Fred.

Excellent, now we have an official release date for both the Fanboys and the Charlie Banks DVD (notice how Chris isn't on any of the pictures in the ad?). Now I'm waiting for my Danish online store to add them to their pre-order list, so far none of them is showing up...

Photos from two screenings of the movie Chris obviously attended: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=195 Don't know where or when this was, they're on the official Facebook but there's no further info. I was hoping to get them in a better resolution from the guy I've been talking to, but he's not responded to my last message. Oh well...

Damn it. I missed it. I checked your email too late Deb and Teejay. Thanks so much for letting me know. I am sorry I couldn't check it out on the big screen for us. I haven't been online much lately. It was playing at the same theatre I saw Fanboys at. Way, way downtown. I am kicking myself now. And I am going to Ottawa but I will be back in T.O. before it starts. Double Damn.
