Interesting doesn't begin to describe it. And it's more of a comedy than a straight-up horror movie. No Chris fan will be able to resist this one. He rocks it.

There is something I hadn't really thought about, but this is the only thing I can think of where he was THE lead, except maybe the Tic Code. Fanboys was a buddy film with a few leads, and everything else I have seen I would have to describe him as some degree of supporting character, sometimes very important characters like in JOA but there was always someone else who I would call the lead.

And that being said, He really pulled off a lead.

OK, just talked to Rankin about the ending. He didn't see the airing on Siffy so he can't comment on what they did, but he confirms that the movie does end with Cooper saying, "Holy shit!" and then a cut to black screen. We don't see whatever was coming at them. He said he does hope that they get to do a sequel too, and that he's already shot what he might use to open a second movie. :dancing:

Well, "heaven" would be seeing it on big screen in LA. Or Frisco. Or Atlanta. Or any American city. Together with a bunch of of other Chris fans. But I take what I get.

hahahaha! Oh ridiculously spelled "Syfy" channel! I love it!
Anyway I caught the film when it aired on the 8th and I loved it! Chris was awesome, really good character. I can't wait for the DVD version to see the ending because I must admit the "holy sh*t" fade to black really confused me.
All in all though it was fun and Im psyched to see it again!

Well, Samantha, I've spoken to Kyle Rankin about that ending and that's really how it ends. But Siffy did cut to split screen too soon though and they ruined the joke. I don't think it'll be vastly different on the DVD but at least it won't be so clumsy and completely confusing, and maybe there'll be a cool song over the end credits to punctuate the joke.

With my eyes going wonky on me as I get older, almost all the boobies that I see are blurred.

I know that, I already checked and planned to go there today. But as you can see, the hailstones and the rain ruined that plan, so I'm going tomorrow. There was also online reservation offered, but that's only for credit card users. Hmpf. Oh well. I'm doing it for a good thing.

Oh, and last night I found out that I mixed up the dates. Presale starts August 24, so I can only go next Monday to get my ticket. But you can bet I will be there.
