I think he had a phase last year where he put on a pound or two. Somehow with him it seems to register most in his face, I find. We haven't really seen very recent pics of him, but he did lose some weight after shooting Infestation. He looked great at the Fanboys premiere in early 2009 and not at all puffy.

Infestation was shot in the summer 2007. He had put on some weight that year. He looks completely different now. He and his brother went on a health kick earlier this year and both lost weight and got fit. This is from May 2009...

I think he looks amazing.

No, we didn't take it as mean. He really did go through a period there where he put on --- I think he said --- about 18 pounds. Have you seen the pics from the FX Show? Some of them make him look just horrible. I didn't notice in person. It wasn't until someone pointed it out to me later in the pics that I even saw it at all. He really can't help it to a large degree. It's the Cuban genes. His dad and both of his brothers have really round faces.

So I completey forgot about this movie, on account of the fact that I have been away from the site for so very long, but I did happen to stumble across it at my local video store yesterday.

So what can I say?? It was rather silly at the start, but I got into it the more I watched it. I really enjoyed seeing Chris play like a main character, and the slight serious moment of Chris's water works was quite amazing

Hey Paige. Yeah, I totally love this movie. He had some great moments. I don't think anyone expected him to cry in the giant space bug movie. Probably, Rankin didn't even expect that tear when he's talking to Sara about her mom (and his).

I really loved the scene with Hugo where Cooper talks about how lonely it can be when you can't hear. I've been deaf in my left ear since a severe inner ear infection when I was three that the doctors didn't diagnose for 2 weeks because my evil bitch stepmother told them the only thing that was wrong with me was that my Mom OD'd me on Valium. A flat-out lie that I've never forgiven her for. I couldn't lift my head off the pillow for days because my equilibrium was decimated by an infection and my mother was banned from my side because that vindictive cow lied about her. And I lost half my hearing.

Anyway, about 9 years ago, I had the worst ear infection I've ever had as an adult --- in my good ear of course. I couldn't really hear for 5 weeks. I could barely work. I couldn't enjoy TV. I couldn't even stand listening to music because it was muffled and yet tinny. I've never been able to really appreciate hearing "in stereo" the way most of you can. My good ear is perfect, but I need everything directed specifically into it. Even with all the difficulty, music and voices and sound are the most precious things in the world to me.

Anyway, I just really loved how Cooper bonded with Hugo over the loneliness of hearing impairment.

That cover looks like the pre-release poster which was on the infestation website. It is kind of a cool poster, but it really doesn't give an accurate impression of the film. It looks like a serious/horror film, and we all know that it is a comedy/action film. The current cover (both versions) gives a better impression of the film.
