Cooper just makes me smile. So glad I got it and watched it over the weekend. I would love to see Chris & Ray Wise do another project together. They seemed like they had a good time with each other. I love 'lucy the dog' in a pink bow comments. Just great!

I watched it Saturday night too, Lindsey. It had been a while and I needed a Cooper fix. I think everyone had a blast making that movie. Ray has a long, close relationship with the director, Kyle Rankin, so he was totally comfortable and just cutting loose. I thought he and Chris played off each other beautifully. It would definitely be fun to see them do something else together sometime.

Actually I hadn't seen this until now, but I had to stop watching as soon as Chris started talking ... the voice is - of course - horrible. He sounds like he's having a cold or something. Thank God I saw the Original version at FantasyFest back in 2009. I guess I'll try to get the DVD from the UK or the US.

My brother and his wife finally got 'Infestation' from their netflix queue. They loved it and especially 'that guy' in the movie. They thought Chris was hillarious, which he is in the movie!

Today, a new co-worker came over to ask me about all the autographed photos in my cubicle. He recognized Chris from The Girl Next Door and Just Friends, though he didn't know his name. He said pretty much the same thing, "that guy's so funny". He also recognized Papa Joe (in the pic with Mike & Chris from Criminal Minds) and Kristen Bell (in a Dan Fogler-autographed Fanboys cast pic). I got to tell him all about the website and the California trip. He was suitably impressed and amused by our good fortune.

Finally watched this today - on the never ending 16 hour drive home - and I gotta say it wasn't as cheesy as I thought it would be. Chris was the best actor (outside of the one playing his father) in my opinion. I really enjoyed it and actually want to watch it again right now. It was weird seeing his ex in it just because her part was kind of strange and because I knew they had dated, I always find that weird in movies. Overall it was a great little movie but I want to know what they see at the end, that bugged me, lol.

*I was also so happy Chris had a lead role - great for him and great seeing more of him on screen. I hope he gets more leads soon and I hope they make the sequel :-)*

I absolutely adore this movie. I've probably watched it 8 times by now. He's hilarious in it. And very cute, I think. I just about died hearing him speak Spanish for the first time. I love Brooke Nevin and Ray Wise as well. On the DVD commentary, Kyle Rankin explains that he shot this scene for the end where Leechee (the Asian woman) shows up with a bunch of survivors. That's what the noise you hear is. Big group hug, the end. But he didn't like it when he saw it all cut together and decided to drop it and leave it open-ended, like the old monster movies he loved as a child.

The reason the movie does not suck is that Kyle is super talented. He's got some really funny shorts out there. The movie was NOT one of those horrible "SyFy Originals", despite their lie that it was. It was made for Mel Gibson's production company, Icon Entertainment and intended for theatrical release. They just couldn't find distribution and ended up selling it to SyFy. The DVD is R rated. There's boobs and f-bombs. It's so much better uncut.

Most everyone who watches it is pleasantly surprised. Even people who never heard of Chris.

I love this movie. I've got a DVD and a back up DVD. I got one of them as present from a lovely friend in the UK who knew I love the dude, wanted the film and didn't know if I could find it in my country. she sent it to me just weeks after I had ordered it from play.com but it's good to have two. heh
