Our US office is in Raleigh, NC. But I've never been there. Maybe one day I'll get to go. Have fun, hoops!

Well, T, I've always wanted to go visit the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. We should go there on one of these trips.

I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone, in a few days I'm gonna go on a cruise to the Carribean . I probably won't have much time to post between now and when I leave on the 9th. I'll be back on the 21st, probably with pictures.

I'm back... physically. Mentally, I'm still in the Carribean. Can you get jet lag from a boat? And because I never mentioned this before, I went with my mom for my graduation/birthday present.
I set off security because I bought about 50 pounds of jewelery. I didn't get wanded though... I just took all the jewelery off and went back through.
I visited San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Samana, Dominician Republic; and Labadee, Haiti. They were all beautiful, but St. Thomas was my favorite and everyone I met on the ship loved it as well.
In San Juan I did a walking tour, which would have been nice if it didn't last two and a half hours, in over 90 degree heat. Charlotte Amalie was great, I went on a semi-sub and looked at coral and fish and ship wrecks and stuff. There's amazing shopping downtown, but we didn't go there. Samana was crazy... I'm gonna read thoughts now "wait, Samana? What?"... yeah, it's basically a deserted island. We stepped on shore and a guard with a machine gun followed us, because we needed protected from the locals. Yeah, seriously. We went back on the ship in about five minutes. Finally, Labadee (owned by Royal Carribean), we made the mistake of going within five feet of the straw market and got attacked by the sellers... I bought a really ugly necklace I honestly didn't want just because I wanted the guy to leave me alone.
And finally, to the pirates. I got my picture taken with a guy dressed up as a pirate in Charlotte Amalie, but it was a professional photo so I can't show you guys. I saw Blackbeard's castle, but I was too far away to take a picture. What I did get a picture of, is Blackbeard's sunken ship.
I took 295 pictures in all, so I need to pick and choose what I can post in here. It could take a while so maybe they'll be up later today.
And here's something I could make a good story about... I am very short and got mistaken for ages 12 to 15 the entire time. One lady we ate breakfast with once asked what I graduated from.

Picture time! There's a lot so I'm gonna keep things in some kind of order... ignore the dates on the picture. And sorry about the hugeness of the pictures.
Obviously, not the whole ship but I think the way the clouds are and everything just make it a beautiful shot
Not as nice of a shot, but it's the basically whole ship... except the part from the first picture
Which is Carribean and which is American water?
My room decorated for my birthday.
First stop: San Juan
The city as we pulled into the dock
A famous graveyard that you have to meet three requirements to be buried in: you had to be someone who did something special for the city, your family has to come from the Old City, and you have to be dead.
... don't ask
I have many more shots of statues... Puerto Ricians like statues
They also liked architecture... with domes
This is my favorite building in the world... it used to be an insane asylum and now it's an art school. I think that's hilarious.
That's basically San Juan, so onto St. Thomas
The city from the top of a hill. Ignore the barrier and the phone line, they ruin the shot.
Fish... look close, they're really there.
There's a good shot of a few.
The diver with a jellyfish
We got attacked by iguanas
AHH! Sharks!
Sea turtles, I loved these guys
It doesn't look like much, but those are actually Blackbeard's ship and a plane that sunk.
That's all of that one, so Samana
A post office and a little shop
A house that I just thought was beautiful
Yeah, that's about all of Samana I saw... so now Labadee:
The straw market
The water park
That's about all of Labadee, onto the ship stuff.
The lovely people we ate dinner with every night, minus two. Me and my mom are closest to the camera on the right.
The place I spent most of my time and lost most of my money, the casino
I just think that's amazing. Made totally out of chocolate.
The guy who made up our room liked making animals out of towels and using our glasses... any ideas as to what the hell that thing is?
And finally, the highlight of my trip (which is sorta sad), meeting The Beatles... or at least they thought they were The Beatles. Their band is called Revolution.
Up close, the guy playing John looked more like Ozzy Osbourne. And Paul's moustash was totally drawn on. During the show Paul asked John where he's been for so long, then John told us to go buy CDs because Paul has some bills to pay. They were funny.

LOL! Those pics are really cool. Looks like you had a great trip. No idea what the towel guy is supposed to be. From the front it looks like a polar bear with a huge nose who's cold.
