Shrek The Third

I just came back from seeing Shrek The Third, and I have to say: Supercute! I love the Shrek movies, love the humor in it. The voicework was also great. Justin Timberlake did the voice of Artie, and he did a great job. But all the others were also wonderful. Just an enjoyable movie when you wanna have a little fun. And as a donkey lover, of course I have a thing for Donkey. Eddie Murphy is perfect as Donkey! It also had two of the Pythons: Eric Idle (whose voice I actually recognized without knowing that he would be in it) and John Cleese.

Anyone else here seen it?

Anyone else who saw it think that Chris should be doing some more voicework on a bigger production some time? wink

Re: Shrek The Third

I saw it the day it came out. Donkey is probably my favorite character out of the whole movie.

Re: Shrek The Third

I saw it the day it came out too. Which, for Germany, was yesterday. smile

I also thought the animation was great. I was very impressed with the animal fur. And you remember the scene with Prince Charming's hair? That was hilarious! The story may have lacked some depth. Because, yes, of course it it was very predictable and a little corny at times. But, hey, we're in fairy tale territory. Of course there had to be a happy ending!

Re: Shrek The Third

I might check out the DVD once it's out. Right now there's no chance to go to the cinema. But I love the Shrek movies too.
