Yeah, I think so too. I still don't like it. Was there a lot of R-rated language in the script, Sean?

In the first podcast they talk mostly about how much of a SW geek he is. And, trust me, you can't be a much bigger one. Which we already knew.
I could probably introduce you to 10+ people that are even bigger geeks.

Oh, I totally believe you, Sean. I know a fair share of them too. Ask me about some of the guys at our Trek-Dinner.

I can only imagine!! We get together at a local convention once a year with the Star Trek guys here in town, and believe me, it's pure magic.

I don't mind a PG-13 rating, I just have to make sure not to go to the theatre in the afternoon when all those kiddies wanna see it. I'm going to see it in the evening when they have to be in bed.

At the last Trek-Dinner we had a "dress-up" night where everyone who wanted could show up in costume. Of course we had the usual Star Trek uniform variety, but Scott and Kirsten showed up in full Klingon armor, painted-on forehead ridges and fake teeth and everything. It was hilarious! You should have seen the people in the restaurant gaping, even though it was carnival time and not that unusual that you'd see dressed up people running around.
And before you ask, no, I didn't dress up. Not geek enough to own a uniform. But I did put on my Albert Einstein Chris t-shirt (the one where he has the tongue out--which I don't usually wear in public) and a Star Trek communicator in the front, just for good will.

Sean, did you know Jay Baruchel was in two Numb3rs episodes? I just saw the one from last week and was surprised to see him reappear. I thought it was a one-time thing, but I guess it wasn't. He played a math geek who's into comics and skateboarding. Nerd roles much?

HAHAHA!!! Hey Sean, thanks for that laugh! Hahaha!
I just laughed out so loud that my mom came in my room, asking me:"What's so funny?" and I showed her the pic. LOL

While we're posting Trek pictures, the one you posted, Sean, somehow made me think of this one:

I especially like how the sewing machine isn't plugged in. But I guess it's running on isolinear chips or power modules or has a direct computer interface uplink or something. "Computer, activate sewing machine." Then again, why not use a replicator in the first place? Am I overanalyzing? Nah.... LOL Scientist's brain, can't help it.

I wonder if they have power sockets on the Enterprise ship ... LOL
(Oh, by the way: I had to look at LEO for "power socket". I didn't know that power socket is called "female" too. )

Sources say that TeeJay will fly out to Atlanta, GA for the last week of August and first week of September and meet up with Deb for Fanboys Fest 2007. I absolutely need to see this movie as soon as I can, and I don't think I could stand to wait another few months until we maybe possibly some time get to see it in Germany. So I will do anything humanly possible to be in the US while it's still showing in theaters.
Kyle, if you ever read this: You better damn well get me a DVD if I fly out to the US and the movie's release date is postponed again after I've already booked a flight!!
And, yep, it's slightly crazy, but that's me. It'll be a whole lot of fun, Deb and me seeing the movie with matching Fanboys t-shirts.

Girls (and guys), check this out! Mycah from jaimeking.net e-mailed me awesome screencaps of Chris from the trailer from the Clerks II DVD. Give her a big shout, because these are great:

Yeah, I gaped when I got Mycah's screencaps. I did ask her if she would cap some Chris pictures from the trailer for us, but I never expected to get this many. But even better!
