We do?  Guess I'm out of the loop.  <shrugs>  But I'll try not a cameo by Jar-Jar ruin my anticipation of the movie.

Hm... Sean said something about that, but maybe it was in a chat where you weren't present? Or an e-mail to me? Anyway... think of Seth Rogen as the sleezy curly haired dude. Then think naked back. Got it? wink (That's not telling too much, is it, Sean or Ken?)

Re: Fanboys

Oh, is it a tat?  That's fine.  As long as there's not a stupid-ass CGI character in the movie, I'm fine with that.

Re: Fanboys

CGI = computer generated image. Animated characters are CGI. Basically everything that's on screen that's not "real" (as in real actor or real prop) but put on film by a computer is CGI. Right? It can be special effects, like exploding starships, or it can be walking, talking, moving characters, like Jar-Jar Binks, Shrek, Gollum or, say, Jac Weir.

And stupid-ass would only apply to Jar-Jar, I'd like to think. smile Could it be that you haven't actually seen Episode I, Anne? I think you should before you watch Fanboys! (I don't have it on DVD, though.) Jar-Jar Binks was a CGI character introduced in Episode I, and he was annoying as hell. He talked very funny in a really off-beat voice in weirdo English. He certainly got on my nerves, and my personal opinion is that he was as much use to the movie as a hole in the head. A lot of fans and non-fans alike thought the same way. Is there actually anyone who liked him?

Well, it was on TV here once, but I couldn't watch the whole thing because my mom hates Star Wars and she said she doesn't want to watch such shit like this (Star Wars is no shit!!!), so I had to turn it off. Shame. I really wanted to watch it. I am going to buy the DVD Box sometime in future. In faaaar future. LOL

And I'll never be able to know all these American abbreviations, so don't expect me to know them, please.

Re: Fanboys

You're not expecting us to not use any abbreviations anymore, right? Actually, CGI is a fairly common abbreviation, even in German. If there's anything you don't know, just ask. I'll gladly explain anything you might not know. smile

And I'm going to Anja's place next weekend, maybe I'll just snag a copy of her Episode I DVD (shhhh!). I have Ep. II and III already. Eps IV to VI I only have on video.

Re: Fanboys

Oh great, and then I'll come over to your place again and we'll watch it together. Or maybe rather not, because I don't think I can watch Star Wars in English ... <sigh> roll
But sometime I'll buy the DVD Box. I always wanted to have the DVDs.

Re: Fanboys

I think she was talking about the first one, where they're holding the weapons. Right? (We talked about that via e-mail.) But I remember that shot, at least I think I do. But, hey, in 4000 photos you're allowed not to recognize one or the other. smile  Although I think I've stared at the ones with Chris in them long and often enough to recognize them all.

Re: Fanboys

Yeah, there was one shot where he's holding his weapon in a weird way and I couldn't remember. I wasn's sure if I know that shot already or not.
Dude, there are 4000 pics. Like Tina said, it's not possible to remember everything. wink

Yeah, it's in there.  I labeled it gansta because of the way he's holding the gun.

Re: Fanboys

Did you save every single pic of the CDs?  I didn't.  Too many of them were too similar and I thought, hey, I can always look back at the CDs anytime I want to.
