Re: Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia

I've read almost all of that Butterflies story. Great writing. It's only the second fanfic I've ever read. I just found that fanficsite like a month ago. There's this Buffyverse story that I've been following called Wolf's cry. Seth Green is the first cute actor I thoughted to be so talented I called myself a fan. wink

I'm thinking the Butterflies is having some effect in my lovelife. It went to my subconscious somewhere since my bf wondered yesterday how come I snuggled up to him the night before even tough I don't usually like doing that. lol I don't usually do that because he feels like I'm sleeping with a radiator, all hot and swetty. I quess your story is really tickling my romantic side. smile

Heh, that's really sweet, Maria.  So, are you reading the smutty version or the non-smutty one?

I don't think that I've read that one. How'd that happen? :oI'm going to have to read that one.

I really must agree with you about Seth Green. He and Chris are both really talented and somehow I end up loving everything I've ever seen either of them in.

Ofcourse I read the whole thing, I don't want to miss out on anything.

I like reading romance novels more than anything. Sometimes i read some of those smutty shortstories online somewhere. Until now they've all been in finnish. Anyone know any good english ones?

Re: Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia

I am having a serious JoA/Chris addiction right now lol. I've honestly re-watched the series like 3 times in last couple of months! I think I just love Chris in that role so much and I'm also in Chris withdrawal for newer stuff. Watching it on my comp is why I see it so much since I skip all the adult stuff and just watch the teens/Joan and Adam stuff. Never really got into the adult storylines, connected more with the younger cast - probably because they are so awesome!! I will forever hate the T&E episode just because they screw Adam/Chris over royally but will always love the amazing acting he gives in it.

Re: Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia

Oh, I still miss it deeply. Especially when I think of what that show brought to my life, and with that I mean, not only the show itself, but what other experiences I had ... I mean, if it wasn't for JoA, I would probably never have become a fan of Chris, never would have joined that message board back in 2005, where I met Tina, who brought me to the old Chris fansite we met Deb on. We wouldn't have this page now and, most of all, we would never have had that great LA experience we had in 2008! I mean, we even sat in Chris's own car! Now tell me, what fan ever gets to sit in their favorite actor's car, huh? People are still impressed when I tell them about it, even though they have no idea who Chris is.
And for me it doesn't end there ... I'll spare you the details, but through Michael I learned of Twilight, and Twilight made me go to RingCon, this big German fantasy convention I still attend quite regularly and since I always meet actors from my favorite shows there, I've become less shy than I was. But yes, for me everything started with JoA. It was in early October 2004 when I happened to read a short article about a show featuring a girl talking to God. I decided to watch, even though I don't believe in God and look where I am now, almost 10 years later ... amazings, isn't it?  smile

Re: Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia

I have the same feeling Anne.  That little show changed my life in a lot of ways.  The people I've met.  Getting to interview some of my favorite actors.  It's been quite a ride!

Re: Chris Marquette on Joan of Arcadia

Do you realize that September 25 marks the tenth anniversary of the airing of the pilot? I just checked imdb.
In Germany, it aired for the first time on October 2nd, 2004, that makes 9 years this year. Wow. Sometimes it still feels like yesterday that I sat in front of the TV, curiously waiting for the show to start. Yep, I still remember that.

It's been quite a ride indeed!

Definitely agree Deb smile I share the same sentiment!  I have some friends that just moved to Atlanta, I'm thinking of visiting them soon, probably the summer.  When they moved I immediately thought of you!  I'll keep you posted!  wink
