Laura, I've given you temporary admin rights for the board as neither Anne nor Deb are online right now (I think). I keep deleting the obscenities that Edvin is posting, but I need to leave home now. Please go and delete any swearing off the board if you can. Deb, Anne and I will go and delete these guys if they don't stop with their swearing.

I don't know, not so much anymore. I didn't renew my paid account for my fanfic journal but I'm still using some features, I think I'm allowed to still use them but I thought the severs might have freaked out and deleted my entire account instead of just the features.

Hey guys, sounds like I missed some excitement. Jacen and I went to Dallas, TX for 4 days(Friday-Monday) and I've popped in a few times here and there, but I mainly just wanted to say hello to everyone!

Yeah, we were hit by an attack of rabid 13-year old brats last Saturday morning. Three of them. They cussed a blue streak and insulted Chris and us. They said things we don't even say in the adult thread. Suffice to say that if their parents knew what they did, their little asses would be grass. I know Clare is new to the Internet and all, but this was beyond the pale. It also worries me that she gives out all her personal details online. She emailed me tonight in response to my notification that she and her friend were being deleted because of their behavior (a week ago) with more cussing and crap manners.

Eh, this kind of stuff was bound to happen sooner or later. In the grand scheme of things, it matters not.

Me and TeeJay were the only ones who didn't miss it.

It really was just annoying, my head felt ready to explode at the end of the day. In the beginning, they actually weren't swearing at all and just posting random stuff in the All About Chris topic, which annoyed me so I was yelling at them and TeeJay moved it all to the Off Topic section. Then we (or I, maybe because I was already really angry at that point, I don't even remember exactly what I said) said they need to stop posting about Eddie because we just don't care. That set them off, because Eddie's apparently "twice the man Chris will ever be"... with half the height and weight. Then the swearing started.

TeeJay tried to calm them and me down for the longest time, but they crossed a line and neither of us could just sit there and ignore it. I have to say that TeeJay showed awesome restraint with them.

Thanks, Laura. Heck, they were annoying the hell out of me too. I couldn't stop thinking about it the whole night, because the problem was that I had to leave because I was meeting with friends and was afraid that when I left, they'd just wreak more havoc, posting more useless, insulting shit. You wouldn't believe the things they said in the end, calling us hoes and bitches and posting things like "Fuck America" (because this Eddie kid is apparently from Lithuania, where they can do what they want and so he was gonna do what he wanted here on the MB too--his words). I couldn't delete the posts as fast as they posted them. Laura, you might not even have seen all of them. So before I shut down my computer, I left Laura in charge, which worked out quite well. (Thanks again!!)

Deb will probably agree with you that I'm just way too credulous with people who behave like idiots. So shoot me. I believe in the good and decent in people. And I will always try to make them see reason in as calm a way as possible, because things escalate even faster when you tend to scream at each other and throw insults at one another. It's one of the things I hate on IMDb, so I usually try not to be that way. However, these three kids (I believe it was Clare, her "bff" Britta and this guy Eddie all sitting in front of the same computer that day) were having a good time insulting the hell out of us and didn't care at all about behaving a little more mature. Let's just say it: They are brats and behaved like it.

The funniest thing is that in the e-mail she wrote back to Deb last night she said she couldn't care less about Chris Marquette. Haha. Yeah? Sure didn't look like it when she came here a few weeks ago and sounded like her world was crumbling down when she thought Chris was married to Margo Harshman, which in turn would mess with her chances of marrying Chris herself. Which was just ridiculous in the first place. (And, yes, she was serious about that.)

Jeez. I knew we'd run into these crazy teenie boppers at one point, but, hey, it certainly made for some excitement. I'm not keen on repeating an experience like that ever again, though.

I literally refreshed the page every ten seconds that morning, if not more. So after you left, TeeJay, I deleted their posts before before they were even redirected back to what they'd just posted. They really didn't do much after you left, it might be because they knew I wouldn't let them get away with it or it might be because they thought I'd leave even though I promised I wouldn't and they thought no one was left to annoy.

Whatever you did to them before you left, it worked.
