It does look like an extraordinary movie, but I'm not sure if I can watch this, now that one of my mother's friend's son got missing on a hiking trip last December and they found his (and his friend's) body three weeks ago.

Looks really great! I remember when this happened. Do you know if it's based on Aron Rolston? The one that was trapped in a crevace in Utah? Yes, it's based on Aaron's book. He was scared to see the movie, but he did end up accepting the invitation to the premiere. He said it made him cry. He'll be doing interviews to help promote it.

I watched Beyond A Reasonable Doubt tonight. It was an okay movie with a great plot twist at the end. Wouldn't have expected that. Amber was great in it too. If this had become big in theaters, it would definitely have put her in the spotlight. (A bonus was that Joel David Moore was in it too, at least for the first half.)
