Indeed! I just read that David Cross's IFC TV series, Todd Margaraet has been picked up for a second season. I wonder if it's hard for Amber and David to be apart while he's shooting in the UK and she's shooting in LA.

Does anybody know why Main Street doesn't seem to be available ANYWHERE on DVD? Well, I found out you can actually purchase the Italian one via amazon UK ... but that's not exactly useful for me since I don't speak Italian and I want my DVDs in English. LOL

I still haven't seen any Amber in da House eps. :doh: House is on TV here now but I think it's only season 5 or soething and I haven't really been watching. I'm totally clueless on what's happening on it. Might as well jump to the Amber eps?

Just now looking at this thread, I remembered that I ordered that book to my bookstore but haven't heard from it. They were supposed to text when it arrives. It's been 5-6 weeks already. I'm gonna go ask tomorrow. I'd love me some Amber poetry.

btw. I love, love, LOVE her FB postings. Always good to see someone smile so much and have fun without making them selves into something nasty.

I'm still behind with the House eps, too, but I at least took a glimpse at Zombie Amber! I bet this was fun! LOL

In other news, since I've been looking for/watching a lot of Colin Firth movies I haven't seen yet, I watched Main Street yesterday. I wasn't really able to find out what the message of the movie is supposed to be, but in the end it was quite entertaining, I guess. Amber looks stunning as always and it was fun to watch two of my most favorite British actors (which would be Firth of course, and Bloom) talking in Texan accent to each other. I guess I have to watch the movie again at some point, maybe then I'll understand the full meaning.

Yeah, see Mel, I never even dared dream it because I just figured NO WAY we would get that lucky. That he'd be on the show and have so many great moments with her? It was like it was too much to hope for. You did dare dream it and it happened!

I did point out how Chris had 10 friends/co-stars as regulars on TV this season and I suggested that he should call in some markers, that some of those folks could maybe help get him a job. While they didn't all necessarily do that, we did get to see him on four shows this season. Weeds probably happened because of Sony. We know that Criminal Minds was a Papa Joe thing. Outlaw probably had nothing to do with Jesse Bradford, though he and Chris are friends. And now he and Amber reunite on House. I think we came off pretty decent. We also got a movie. Sadly, a lot of this stuff was just bit parts. But hey, our guy added five credits to his resume and we got to see him, get nice new pics to ogle. House was definitely the icing on the cake because it was delicious! And yeah, I'll probably keep going with the food metaphors. Can't help it.
