Re: amazing books

Oh, you don't know how shocked I was when I read that Brad Pitt was supposed to play Henry!  He does so NOT look like I imagined him! But I have to say, I am not convinced about the new guy either. Can't they just wait a few years until Chris could play him?

Haha yeah, Chris isn't how I imagined Henry though, but I would definately not complain if he got the part (in like ten years time) I always thought Christian Bale would've been a good Henry. Eric Bana is too hollywood good looking, but better than Brad Pitt, I wouldn't have been able to watch if he'd been Henry.

I'll keep Twilight in mind for future reading I think, I'm reading a couple of good books right now. smile

That's exactly what I think too.

Re: amazing books

The last novel I finished is "Going After Cacciato". Not a book I can recommend reading if you're looking for light entertainment. It's not that it's tough to read or highly complicated literature, it just has its own style that you need to get used to or need to like. The switching between the three diferent points in time I felt was also hard to follow sometimes. And the ending just has you stumped...

I chiefly read this one because Deb recommended it and because there is word out there that Nick Cassavetes is going to make it into a movie and is considering Chris to play a part. If it happens, man, I hope he'll play Paul Berlin. That'd be darn near perfect! I'm already drooling and I know Deb is too.

Come to think of it, didn't we have a thread for this somewhere else? If so, sorry to have cross-posted...

Re: amazing books

Yeah, there's a thread in the On Screen section that has Nick's original post from IMDb where he said Chris was going to read for him.

I freakin' loved that book!  I didn't mind the three timelines once I figured out that's what was going on.  It only took me a few pages to get into the conversational style it's written in and I just had a blast reading it because Chris was Paul in my head the whole way.  It was like I was watching him play the part in my mind's eye.  If he were to get this role, it would be life-changing for him.

Re: amazing books

There's a lot of both.   Let's just say, you should decide which boy you like better now because with Eclipse you have to be biased for someone.  Well, you don't have to but it helps because being in Bella's mind gets annoying if you don't choose a boy.

I never read his books, but I just looked them up on Amazon... they look interesting.  Titles seem a bit confusing...

I agree, I kind of like Jacob more.. And she really does lead him on. sad

But, then again, Edward has the more refined and mature side. Mysterious.  If we could combine the two, I'd be much happier!

Re: amazing books

Edward's emotions are way to confusing to me. Even though the vampire thing is way more appealing than werewolf

Re: amazing books

The emotions are what I love about him.  And why Chris would be perfect to play him, even though Edward can't cry, so we wouldn't see our King of Man Tears in tears when he should be.

Re: amazing books

hmm I think he would play better as a Jakob. Seems how they probably want a pretty boy for Edward. Then again Jakob is supposed to have some height to  him.lol Sorry Chris
