Oh, that's great!  I loved "Get Smart"  I guess Time Life lost their exclusive rights to sell the series DVDs.  I'm curious to see if the extras are different.

Got my shipment from Pepsistuff.com, so all this cost me is the cost of buying Pepsi 24-packs.

Because you've recently accessed it and it's somehow still in your cache. More and more sites prevent hotlinking because there are so many message boards out there now and everyone wants to hotlink your photos. If you're a very frequented site, a lot of your traffic will be generated through hotlinking. In fact, when I look at our stats for the site, our most frequented files are also images that are hotlinked on other sites. But I don't care because we have unlimited traffic. smile

I've never seen it. Don't think they showed it in English around here...

Re: Post your recent DVD purchases

I saw the German version in the theaters, and the DVD was just 10 bucks, so I bought it because I liked it and wanted to see the English version.

Re: Post your recent DVD purchases

That's the movie I was raving about a year or so ago.  I was saying that it's a fine example of a romantic comedy that didn't need a supernatural subplot to be great.  What was the title in German?  Here, it was called Prime.  Bryan Greenberg was so cute in it.  Loved it!

Couchgeflüster means "couch whispers". Does that make sense?

Me too. And Meryl Streep was priceless in that movie. LOL

Re: Post your recent DVD purchases

Couch Whispers!  yikes

In the movie, Meryl Streep is Uma Thurman's shrink.  And Uma starts dating and falls in love with Meryl's son, Bryan Greenberg.  Uma doesn't know he's Meryl's son and Meryl doesn't know that he's who Uma's in love with.  He's much younger than Uma and she feels funny about falling for him.  When everything comes out in the open, hilarity and the obligatory mid-movie rom-com break-up ensue.

Re: Post your recent DVD purchases

I actually like the German title. Probably because you can't translate "Prime" into German. At least that's what my mom said when I asked her what it means.

Re: Post your recent DVD purchases

Prime can mean a lot of things, but I think in this case it has to do with age, right? And, yep, it's kinda hard to translate into something catchy for, say, a movie title.

Picked this up at Wal-Mart tonight... I know, there's a good chance it's horrible but I need a movie to cheer me up.
