As someone who grew up in the 70's and was a teen during the 80's I really remember Tom Baker as Doctor Who. Still is my favorite Dr.
I used to watch Dr. Who on Channel 11 (PBS) on the weekends back then.

Just got this for a £1. I've seen the last half, so i know it's not a particullary nice film, but i'm interested in what the whole film is like.

Hostel is freaky. You should see Hostel Part 2, Simon. It's even better in my opinion.

I don't like the Hostel movies. Stuff like that shouldn't be made in my opinion.

Seeing the X-Men DVDs, today I made sure to reserve a ticket for the X-Men Wolverine preview next Wednesday in OV. And I'm gonna make sure to watch the Star Trek movie the week after.

I'm trying to convince my brother to go with me. He keeps saying it looks boring (even though he's hardly seen any of the previews). I think he's just trying to be annoying.

Picked up over the weekend.
Fairly bland cover for Nemesis.
Even though it flopped, I still think Nemesis is actually quite good.
I think it's better than Insurrection or Final Frontier.
The final space battle is very good, especially like when the Romulan ship tumbles after being hit.

They had a Star Trek marathon on Sky over here. They showed all the films except First Contact and Nemesis. I've got Insurrection recorded and now i have Nemesis, i'm just trying to find a copy of First Contact. They are quite expensive online.
Doom is not the greatest film but i enjoyed. And it does have Bones McCoy in.

I think First Contact is the best of the Next Gen. films.
If I had to put the Next Gen. Trek films in order from best to worst.
1. First Contact
2. Nemesis
3. Generations
4. Insurrection.
Is Nemesis 1 or 2 discs?
I own the Collector's Edition, which is 2 discs, and it's loaded with extras.
Luckily I was able to get all 10 Trek film Collector's Editions before they went OOP. So I could have a marathon any time I want to.

I have the Nemesis 2 disc set. The weekend before i actually bought the 1 disc really cheap. I didn't expect to find the 2 disc set really cheap a week later.
I'm one of those dvd fans who have to have the most extra features, so the 2 disc sets are what i'm looking for. I also have Star Trek: The Motion Picture 2 disc set, so 2 out of 10 ain't bad for the moment. I've only seen each film up to Generations once so far, and The Voyage Home is the one i've enjoyed the most.

I think for me it's
1) First Contact
2) Insurrection
3) Nemesis
4) Generations
I don't have any of the Trek movies on DVD. Which, I guess, is blasphemy because I love Trek and go to a monthly Trek-Dinner.

Me not speaking to my brother for more than a day is all because of Star Trek.

One of our TV channels is having some Star Treck Special this month. They're calling it "The Star Trek May", but I'm not gonna watch it because I'm tired of the dubbings.
