Did anybody else watch it last season?

I watched it, probably only because it had a great time slot behind Grey's, and I seriously loved it. I might not be able to watch it this season because football is more important than air in Pittsburgh :fedup:

Anyway, any other October Road fans around here?

Last season? Oh, okay. So it'll probably never come to Germany. Or who knows? German TV might be full of crap nowadays but it still has some surprises sometimes.

It was a mid-season replacement. I think there were maybe 8 episodes. I really liked it, too. They did a cool thing. They wrapped up the story, in case it didn't get on the fall schedule.

If anyone has seen the movie "Beautiful Girls" with Timothy Hutton and Uma Thurman (among others-amazing cast), "October Road" is about the guy who wrote the novel that BG was based on. It was successful, they made the movie. And, since the story was highly autobiographical, the people from the author's home town are really pissed off at him when he goes back there to live.

I saw the first three eps of the show because I like Bryan Greenberg and Laura Prepon. But I kinda lost track of it after that. I liked what I saw. Has anyone seen the movie Prime? It starred Byran Greenberg and, guess who? Uma Thurman. Interesting coincidence.

Yeah, take a cue from Nick Cassavetes with the name changes in Alpha Dog. I mean Johnny Truelove for Jesse James Hollywood is questionable. But Jesse Rugge became Frankie Ballenbacher. Now, that's a big change. And from Graham Pressley to Keith Stratten is a big jump too.

I don't trust my recorder. My VCR's basically shot and the only way it'll for sure record is if I press and hold the record button in. I'd get a new one, but I have a three in one combo TV/VCR/DVD that's only a couple years old and not worth replacing for a VCR I barely use.
