Best. Trailer.  Ever.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2xa_JU995s

It looks exactly how I imaged everything in the book.  I can't wait until next month.

But did Bella hit Jacob near the end?  big_smile Guess they pushed that up, though I was hoping to see Edward's reaction when it happened in Eclipse...

Definitely! I can't wait to see the movie! (Though I think I have to wait longer than November .... roll)

And you can't imagine how p*ssed I am at the moment since I had to learn that Kellan and Ashley had to cancel their appeareances at RingCon ... which means that I won't have the chance to meet them, so I basically painted my Alice painting for nothing and I can't tell Ashley how thrilled I was about the Porsche thing because I basically *worked* for Porsche. Well, my company did and I suppose it still will after I'll be gone in November ...

This movie better be good so I know it's worth waiting so long!!!

Sorry to hear that, Anne. But here's the good news: Concorde moved the German release date of New Moon up from January 2010 to November 2009, so you might just see it in November after all. smile

Yeah, but that's probably only the German version, which i am not going to watch. My English theatre is really small and sometimes has to wait weeks for the English copy to come to Stuttgart. For Twilight, I had to wait until February. I can't have this with New Moon. I suffered so much when I read the book. Yeah, I'm pathetic. LOL

I took some screencaps when viewing the trailer on MTV's site (great version there!)

I like how artistic this part looks.

Woohoo! I just learned that Christian Serrantos will be at RingCon next month. This is kinda great because I can tell her how we met Mike last year. She said on Twitter that she had fun with him and Justin Chon.

I wouldn't get you're hopes up too high about talking to Christian. I went to Twicon this year and she was very... shall we say aloof... She barely talked to anyone, signed a very limited about of autographs and during the "breakfast" with her, that people paid extra for, she hung around for maybe a half hour then disappeared to "rest." There were a lot of very unhappy people. I"m not trying to trash her, I'm sure she's a very nice person (personal I went to the coffee and chat with Jackson Rathbone instead..and he was freakin awesome! LOL) but like I said, I wouldn't expect too much.

Well, at first I have to see if I'll get near her at all ... I guess the autograph/photo sessions will be very crowded. And I doubt there will be time to have a decent chat. But as I said, I have to see first. Not that I didn't expect much before and this will surely not outshine the meeting we had with Mike last year. But it's still a chance to meet some of his costars from a movie I really loved, so I'm still going there.
Of course I would have chosen Jackson over her too, but I have to take what I get. I paid a shipload of money to be able to go there just because I wanted to see Kellan and Ashley and they had to cancel FOUR WEEKS BEFORE the event because Summit forbid them to go.
<sarcasm>
Great, thank you Summit!
</sarcasm>
So I think they wouldn't let Jackson go either. At least Edi didn't have to cancel since he's done with everything now. I also am not very fond of meeting a Volturi and a wolf instead of Emmett and Alice but ... who knows, maybe I'll still have a great time.
The people who organize RingCon also said that they're trying to invite Ashley and Kellan for next year instead. That would be great, I'd totally go there again. And I would love to meet Jackson too! I watched a lot of Con videos on Youtube lately, he seems to be funny. LOL Oh, and Peter Facinelli of course. If I had known earlier about his trip to Dublin a few week ago, I totally would have made arrangements to be there, too. But I only learned about that three days before, so there was no way to fly to Dublin for me. neutral

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I bought the New Moon soundtrack this morning.  It's much more mellow than Twilight's, which is expected.   Just listening to the songs, here's where I think they're gonna fall in the movie based on the feeling of the song and the lyrics.  All just guesses.

"Meet Me on the Equinox" by Death Cab For Cutie.  It's this installment's "Decode" and probably won't be in until the credits.  It's an awesome song though.
"Friends" by Band of Skulls.  It's definitely got a Jacob feel to it, probably when they're rebuilding the motorcycles.
"Hearing Damage" by Thom Yorke.  Definitely gonna be in with one of Bella's delusions, either in Port Angeles or the motorcycle riding.
"Possibility" by Lykke Li.  Cliff jump.  There's really no other possible place for it to go.
"A White Demon Love Song" by The Killers.   Even the name screams Edward.  Lyrics are about hatred for the white demon, so Jacob and Edward.  Probably when he's trying to talk her out of going to Italy.
"Satellite Heart" by Anya Marina.  Probably as Bella's "falling" for Jacob.
"I Belong to You" by Muse.  Race to Italy.
"Roslyn" by Bon Iver & St. Vincent.  Italy.
"Done All Wrong" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.  Italy again?  I don't know about this one.
"Monsters" by Hurricane Bells.  Bella discovering the werewolves, probably.
"The Violet Hour" by Sea Wolf.  It would probably go best in the movie/date scenes.  No idea, really.
"Shooting the Moon" by Ok Go.  Italy?  Another one I'm stumped on.
"Slow Life" by Grizzly Bear.  Bella's "zombie" stage.
"No Sound but the Wind" by Editors.  Bella's "awakening".
"The Meadow" by Alexandre Desplat.  The "Bella's Lullaby" of NM.  It's gonna be in the meadow scene.
"Solar Midnite" by Lupe Fiasco (bonus track).  This one I really don't know.
"All I Believe In" by The Magic Numbers & Amadou & Mariam (bonus track).  The proposal.
"Die Fledermaus - Duettino: Ach, Ich Darf Nicht Hin Zu Dir" by AMP Orchestra.  The Volturi.

I think Bon Iver is one of Chris's favorite bands.

Don't think I know any of these songs, but I'd love to listen to the soundtrack some time. The last song has a German title. smile Means: "The Bat - Duettino: Alas, I Cannot Go To Where You Are".

Kind of connected to Twilight but not really.  Stephenie Meyer's other book, The Host, is being made into a movie.  http://weblogs.variety.com/bfdealmemo/2 … ml?ref=ssp
