Maybe next year Chris'll make the list too. He still has six years to get there.

He definitely belongs there.

Yeah, he just needs a year of high visibility. Or a great role in something big. A lot of the guys on that list, well, they kinda suck. And some of them are almost 30. So yeah, Chris belongs on there.

Who is this Michael Cera? Do I have to know him?

I have a feeling Chris will be on a similar list not long from now. He works so much and is so talented, there's no way he'll go unnoticed in the "Best Under 30" category for much longer.
The list they compiled is good, though. I was excited to see that they mentioned Michael Pitt and Jesse Eisenberg. And Deb, I can't believe you bumped Shia off of your version of the list but kept Zac Efron, lmao.

I was wondering why they even put Zac Efron on that list.

Yes, you do. Hahaha.
I first saw Michael in "Arrested Development" back when it was actually airing on FOX. The show was amazingly funny, received tons of praise from critics, but was always struggling to stay on the air. FOX had no idea how to promote it, I guess, the idiots. It did last two and half seasons, though, and the show gained a bunch of fans after its cancellation. They're in talks for an Arrested Development movie right now.
Anyways, Michael was hilarious on that show. After it was cancelled, he signed onto Superbad, which released this summer. And more recently, he played Paulie Bleeker in Juno. He's got several projects coming up, one of which is the film version of the ridiculously funny novel Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne. Look out for him

Well, I never watched that show, so sorry for my ignorance.

Nah don't worry about it, not a lot of people did watch that show. But Michael is definitely one to look out for.

i didn't get some of the names there. there were like 2 or 3 that i never saw in a movie, so maybe they were good but i didn't saw them.
but zac efron and no chris??? really???:o what were they smoking???? i am sorry for zac but i only saw him in what was an enormous stupid movie. there was no way i could apreciate him in that even if he was good.
also, channing tatum is a nice looking guy and i really liked his work but i think he is just starting to show what he can do. so why he gets acknowledged and chris doesn't.
also i liked justin in alpha dog. but he also only did a couple of movies. i saw him in alpha dog and edison and he was kind of the same. i need to se more range before i say he is an actor.
in my opinion chris and kevin zegers should definitely be there. i love them both i saw them in hard to achieve performances.
who are the people that did this list????
but any comments aside i want to say : wow, what a talented bunch of people under 30. bravo!!!!

Come on Brenna, you know why I bumped Sheephead. Like I said, I don't know a bunch of those guys and I don't like some of them. But no one raises my ire like he does. There would probably only be about 10 guys on the list if I really complied it.
Well, let me see...
Chris Marquette
Michael Cera
Elijah Wood
Paul Dano
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Gael Garcia Bernal
Jake Gyllenhaal
Michael Pitt
Jesse Eisenberg
Lee Pace
Ben Foster
Emile Hirsch
James McAvoy
Jamie Bell
Seth Rogen
Ryan Gosling
Justin Long
Justin Timberlake
Daniel Radcliffe
Well, OK, a few more than ten. These guys are great.

My list would be way shorter because I still don't know half of the guys listed there. Plus I would add Heath Ledger too. I don't care if he's dead or not. He belongs there too.

I noticed the other day that Michael Cera was in the movie "Frequency", which starred Dennis Quaid and James Caviezel, from about 8 years ago. He played Gordy's son, and was just a little guy. He was great on "Arrested Development", but he made the list because of Juno. When you've seen it, you'll know who he is.

Chris is at the very top of my list as #1 too, Deb!

Good list, but I still emailed them and mentioned Chris and other actors that they should have had on the list
Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."
Adam: "Oh, no. I don't care if you're a cheerleader, subdefective, or whatever. I just like hanging out with you because.. you're Jane."

Way to go! Why didn't I think of that?
