I doubt it. Do your rings fit all of your fingers? I can't wear my thumb/forefinger ring on my ring finger. It's way too big, it'd fall right off. And I would imagine that their promise rings were a matching set and probably white gold rather than humble sterling silver. Also, we know that his thumb ring had a design to it. It wasn't just a plain band.
