Re: Guilty Pleasures

I thought of some really guilty pleasures this morning.  I love old martial arts movies.  Like Jackie Chan stuff from the late 70's - early 80's.  But what's worse?  I love Don "The Dragon" Wilson movies too.  I don't consider it a guilty pleasure to love the small handful of movies Bruce Lee made because in their way, in their time, they were brilliant.

Re: Guilty Pleasures

I love the old Jackie Chan movies, they are often not much as stories, but he was simply amazing to watch.  He had the same charisma as he has now, but then he could do the most unbelievable stunts.

Re: Guilty Pleasures

Most of my guilty pleasures are shows/movies I used to love as a kid. I can't help but buy movies like The Land Before Time and Fern Gully simply for the nostalgia I feel when I watch them again.

Re: Guilty Pleasures

Ok, after watching the entire first season three times in 24 hours I'm pretty sure my new guilty pleasure is Secret Life of the American Teenager.  I get funnier every time I watch it.  Which is bad because it's a drama.  But I love it for some reason.

Re: Guilty Pleasures

Wow, what are some of my guilty pleasures?  Cartoons, for sure.  I don't care what anyone says, I'm never going to be too old for cartoons.  Not only do I watch Cartoon Network (the station Foster's is/use to be on), but I also really enjoy PBS Kids.  I just never grew out of PBS Kids.  PBS shows in general, for that matter.  I love Masterpiece Theatre.   big_smile   Among some others, I like A Walk to Remember, I especially like the soundtrack, even though the movie itself didn't do well.  I'll admit I've seen some of the Barbie movies, and rather enjoyed them.   :embarrassed:

Re: Guilty Pleasures

That's a great show.  Why would you feel guilty?

Re: Guilty Pleasures

I dunno if I'd call it a "guilty pleasure," because I enjoy it so much, but I love Degrassi: The Next Generation. Not as much as I love the original series, natch, but I still dig it the most.

Musically, I kinda like Backstreet Boys for some reason hmm

At a certain part in your life. Probably when too much of it has gone by. You will open your eyes and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals.
