I vote for the Recreation pic so far. I was just thinking about that scene on my way to work this morning. Joan's an idiot for treating him the way she does in that ep!

Me too. That's my alltime favorite episode. At least the end of it.
Joan's an idiot for treating him the way she does in that ep!
Oh yeah. <sigh> You don't have to tell ME that.

Yeah, I know you know all about that. That ep has some lovely moments in it but it's so heartbreaking for poor Adam.

Got two more, from 2x19 Trial and Error:
Well, as Deb said to me in an e-mail, this is more like the I-just-peed-on-the-carpet puppy dog look. <sigh>

I know it's not the right time to laugh, but I find that pretty funny.

Well, it is kinda funny. And Deb's right. He just peed on the carpet and should feel totally guilty about it. And even though we hate it (bad writing! bad writing! bad writing!), Chris did such a good job with portraying all the agonizing moments of it.

Yeah, this is quite right. HIs performance (and Amber's too) is just overwhelming. It's great work and I appreciate this.

See? Told ya! I knew there would be an awesome puppy dog eyes shot in that scene. You didn't tell me you made caps for that scene. Wow!

These caps are not new, that's why I didn't say anything. They've been up ever since the gallery has been set up in July, I think. I went through the late s1 episodes from the DVD for caps a long time ago, back when I got the DVDs. Check out the JoA section in the gallery, there's lots of late s1 eps already capped that I didn't do recently.

Oh, I just meant when I asked you about capping the Adam/Helen scene from Silence, you didn't say, "dude, the'yre already there", so I guess I just never knew they were. Didn't look at the caps from all the JOA eps before we started the whole "let's cap the non-A/J scenes" thing and I didn't think to check back once I realized there was a good one in that ep. Doh!

Guess it slipped my mind to tell you about that I capped the late s1 eps a long time ago. Sorry 'bout that. Just go through them if you like. And tell me if you think I'm missing scenes that should have been capped (you too, Anne). It's been a while since I've gone through those and I'm not sure if I capped all the Adam/non-Joan scenes.

The Gift. <sigh> I've been stuck on that ep for days. I just watched it with commentary last night. They really don't say much that's interesting, except that JOA was trying to deal with teen sex in a very anti-OC way. Which, or course, I loved.
And then they had to wreck that whole idea in S2.
