Who's your favorite character or 'ship on all your favorite shows?

And why, if you feel like sharing. You can include more than one character if you have to, but try to make them a guy character and a girl character. 'Ships are always a welcome discussion.

I'll start with a few of mine...

Medium - Joe. I just adore Joe. And the Alison/Joe 'ship. And Ariel. OK, I love that family. Even Lucky.
Law & Order SVU - Benson, and Munch.
Prison Break - Sucre. And this year, Mahone.
Private Practice - Cooper, and Violet.
Grey's Anatomy - used to be George, now it's Callie. And we've been talking about how fascinating Alex is.
House - this year, Thirteen fascinates me. Of course we watch for House. Maybe the House/Wilson 'ship.
Dexter - Debra, and Angel.
Entourage - Ari, and Vince.
The L Word - Shane.
ER - Abby. The Abby/Luka 'ship. Morris, and Sam. Of the past cast, Carter. Always Carter.
Weeds - hey, this year, Silas. :drool: And I find Andy fascinating too.

BTW, it doesn't have to be current shows...

Joan Of Arcadia - Adam and Grace. And of course the Adam/Joan 'ship will live in my heart forever.
The X Files - I was a Scullyist, and a S/M 'shipper, of course.
Judging Amy - Maxine and Vincent (even though he disappeared). I loved Bruce too, complicated and annoying as he often was. And Donna. OK, I'll stop now. Eric Black.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Willow. And the Willow/Tara 'ship. And the Willow/Oz 'ship. And Spike.
Angel - on his own show, I kinda loved The Mope. And Doyle. And Wes.
Millennium - Lara Means and Peter Watts.
Space Above & Beyond - Shane.
Oz - loved the whole sordid, but rock solid Beecher/Keller 'ship. And Father Ray Murcado.
China Beach - Boonie, and KC. And Dodger. God, I'd love to see that show again.
Cagney & Lacey - Mary Beth. And the Harvey/Mary Beth 'ship.

That's my first few. Let's see what y'all come up with...

Current shows:
Medium - Hard to say. I love all the characters. I have a soft spot for Scanlon. Love the Alison/Joe ship, of course.
Prison Break - Michael and Sara, and I'm a total Michael/Sara shipper. Even got me into writing fan fiction.
Private Practice - Cooper. Ship-wise, definitely Cooper and Violet.
Grey's Anatomy - George. As a character, Alex also fascinates me. I would probably be an Alex fan all the way if he was less of a jerk to Izzie. Ship-wise, I think I'd love an Alex/Izzie ship. If he was less of a jerk to her. I can also see George with Lexi.
ER - Currently no one, or maybe Sam. I used to love Mark Greene and Carter.
CSI: - Warrick. Not anymore, I guess. I don't have a ship on this show, but I hated it when they made Grissom and Sarah into a couple.
CSI: NY - Don Flack, no doubt. I like the Danny/Lindsey ship too.
Without A Trace - Undecided. I used to like Martin and Danny best, but lately I don't really care for any character more than the others.
Numb3rs - Also hard to say. Probably Don. Charlie and Amita make a cute couple, but I can't say I'm a shipper.
Cold Case - Scotty. I also love the new girl, Kat Miller.
Lost - Jack. I often go for the tragic and troubled heroes. Ship-wise, I'm all for a Jack & Kate pairing.

Past shows:
Joan of Arcadia - No surprise here. Adam. And I adore the Joan/Adam ship. Most of you know this.
The X-Files - I thought David Duchovny was hot, so naturally I loved Mulder. I loved the sexual tension between Mulder and Scully, but I don't think I was ever a true shipper.
Roswell - Max. Max/Liz shipper all the way. Second favorite character was Michael.
Early Edition - Gary. Loved Marissa too. No ship on this show, sadly.
The Pretender - Jarod. I loved Michael T. Weiss' deeeeep voice.
Star Trek: Next Gen - Hard to say. I don't think I really had a favorite. I always liked the Data-centric episodes.
Star Trek: DS9 - This changed over the course of the show. In the beginning I thought Odo was an intriguing character and I liked the idea of an Odo/Kira ship. I think what ruined it for me a little was that later on I found out René Auberjonois was about twice as old as I thought Odo was. I know it's silly, and René did a great job with the character. Your mind does funny things sometimes. Towards the end of the show Bashir was my favorite guy with Sisko in close second.
Star Trek: Voyager - Tom Paris and Chakotay. As favorite characters, not as a ship. In the first two or three seasons I wanted to see Janeway and Chakotay become a couple. Not so much towards the end anymore because the writers kept neglecting the Chakotay character to make him really bland and kinda unlikeable in the end.
Enterprise - Archer and Trip. Also as characters, not as a couple.
Babylon 5 - Call me weird, but I always loved the G'Kar character.

Prison Break - Sucre :drool:
Private Practice - Cooper, and Violet. (Have to agree with Deb)
Grey's Anatomy - George is kinda cute. And Alex. :drool: Isabel is my favorite lady in this one.
House - the House/Wilson 'ship. Cuddy is nice too.
Dexter - Debra, she's so anoying yet so loveable. And Dexter is interesting..
Entourage - I can't decide... ok.. Eric. I like Drama too but mostly because I liked the actor in another show ( see the folowing)
That's life - Paul DeLuca. Lydia was great.
The L Word - I absolutely adored Carmen. Great acting and.. dare I say.. Sexiest woman alive! Also loved the Carmen/Shane-'ship.
ER - I like Luka but I like the Abby/Carter-ship better. I liked Ray Barnett. Gates is totally droolable.

Joan Of Arcadia - Ofcourse Adam was the favorite character. :drool: Friedman comes a close second. have to copy Deb again: "of course the Adam/Joan 'ship will live in my heart forever." But I kinda warmed up for Grace/Luke-ship too. ... And now on the second round through the episodes I fell in love the Friedman/Judits-ship. He's so loveable with her.

Judging Amy - Maxine. Everybody should have a mom like that.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Willow. the Willow/Oz 'ship. And Spike.
Angel - Doyle was my favorite. I stopped watching for a while when they killed him off.
CSI: Warrick. I like the blond too.
CSI Miami: I like the boss, at first I thought he was charming, then I realized his manerism on the oneliners and started cracking up like crazy everytime I saw one.
Numb3rs: Charlie. I like the cute smart guys.
Cold case: Lilly. she looks so fragile and yet is so strong.
Roswell - Max. Max/Liz shipper all the way. Second favorite character was Michael. I liked the blond too, the nicer one. Why can't I remember the name..not Tess.
Early Edition - Gary. Loved Marissa too.

Joan of Arcadia: obvious to anyone who read my stories. Adam, Grace and Joan. And, of course, Adam/Joan.
Grey's Anatomy: Meredith and Christina. I have to admit, right now my favorite couple is Callie/Erica.
October Road: Ronnie. Ronnie/Aubrey and Nick/Hannah.
Veronica Mars: Veronica, Logan, Weevil, Keith, Wallace and Mac. Logan/Veronica.
Charmed: Piper and Prue. Piper/Leo and Prue/Andy.
Gilmore Girls: Rory, Lorelai, Jess, Lane, Zach, Dean (pre season 4), Brian, Mrs. Kym and Luke. Lorelai/Luke, Rory/Jess, Rory/Dean, Rory/Marty, Rory/everyone in the universe, Zach/Lane.

Hey, what's the private eye character's name on House? I missed the ep where House hired him and I never seem to hear them say his name. I am really starting to get a little crush on the actor who plays him. He played Benson's brother on SVU a year or two ago.

Let's start with past shows because they are the best shows. I will break each show's ships into three sections for clarity. R for Romantic, F for Friendship/Family, and C for Characters. Yes, I feel like being super organised tonight.

Joan of Arcadia: Romantic: Luke/Grace, Adam/Joan. Friendship: Adam/Grace. Characters: Adam, Grace.

You reminded me that I wanted to include Friday Night Lights. My favorite characters on that show are hands down Coach & Mrs. Coach. They're the cutest couple on TV! My other favorite characters are Saracen & Tyra, but not together.

No, Rick, I don't think anyone's gonna kill you over that. What bothers me is when people say they can't stand Joan. I don't get that. How can anyone hate her and still watch the show? Now, she's not my favorite character, but that's just because I'm a weirdo and always fall for the side characters. Just look at the ones I've posted. Most of them are not the lead because for me, it's kind of a given that if you like the show, you probably like the lead character.

I loved Murder One but it's been ages since I saw it. I did really dig the main guy on that show, the one played by Daniel Benzali. But I always dig Stanley Tucci in anything. Hey, did you watch Wiseguy? Man, I loved that show. Been thinking about it a lot lately. Tucci had a great character in the arc about the "rag trade".

I'm willing to bet you'd get a big kick out of Wiseguy. The guest casts in all the arcs were amazing. Fantastic, tight writing. And definitely dark, yet funny. My favorite arc is the one that began with the ep, Dead Dog Lives.

Grey's: That has to be . But I also like Cristina a lot, although she's so NOT me. And of course I'm a Meredith/McDreamy shipper, but I got mad at Meredith at some point, so this is why I don't list her here.
Medium: Allison. And I love Bridget, her daughter. She's fun to watch. And of course I'm a Allison/Joe shipper
CSI:NY: Mac "Lieutennant(?) Dan" Taylor. He was the reason I started watching. And I'm a Lindsay/Danny shipper, too)
Numb3rs: Of course Charlie and Amita, but I also love Alan. He's a great Dad.
Cold Case: Lily Rush. Can't say why, but I like her.
Private Practice: I don't really have a favorite character or couple, but I love seeing "Amy" back on screen. LOL

Roswell: I was a HUGE Max/Liz shipper, so they were my favorite characters, though I liked Michael and Maria too
Smallville: I used to watch that show but I got bored after Season 4 or so. I was a big Clark/Chloe shipper, at least at the beginning,
ER: Undecided. Probably Neela or Abby.
Lost: Also undecided. Haven't watched the show in a long time. Need to do that again. I guess in the beginning it was Sawyer, but not really as my "favorite", I just thought he was interesting.
WAT: Same as with Private Practice, I don't really have a favorite character or couple.
Star Trek Voyager: I loved Janeway because she was the female captain! And I liked Neelix because he was the most exotic one. LOL
Buffy/Angel: Undecided, too.
Life On Mars (The British Version): Sam, of course. No favorite couple.
