All Things Michael Welch

You know, we're talking so much about Michael Welch and what's going on with him, I think he deserves his own thread. Don't you think? wink

Here's something I'd like to share. Shadow from michael-welch.com has just put this up on their site:

michael-welch.com wrote:

I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to our first ever Ticket Stub Drive. The gist is this - see Twilight in its first two weeks in theaters (opening November 21!) and then scan in or photograph your ticket stub and send it to me at shadowcrawler05@yahoo.com. (Bonus points if you take a picture of yourself with your stub. Extra special internet cookies if you're wearing a Team Newton/Team Mike shirt.) I'll then post it to the special section I've created for our gallery. If we receive 50 scans/photos, we here at Michael-Welch.com will make a donation of $100 USD to Kids With a Cause. More detailed information is in our welcome message above.

More info at michael-welch.com. Wonderful idea, guys! I'd join immediately, but Twilight only gets released in Germany in January.  neutral

They also changed their layout, it's not all "Twified". smile

MTV.com devoted a whole blog entry to Michael and his involvement in Twilight: http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/10/30/un … /#comments

It's hiding in the off topic forums.  We might even have more than one.

Ah, I see.  Well, they should be moved to the Square Eyes thread, I think.  Maybe I'll do that later if I feel like fooling with it.

Oh, Aaron, definatelly! big_smile Wanna hear all the things you've all found about him... I've developed a small crush for him this week. wink And in that thread I'd like you guys to list a lot of characteritics about his JOA character (so I can make my JOA fanfic as accurate as possibe..).. You know, the way he talk and acts and stuff.

And please, some Luke's characteritics here! big_smile And quotes? Or should the characteritics be at the JOA-board..

Re: All Things Michael Welch

Tell me...

a) your favorite Luke- episodes of JOA.

b) The JoA-episodes you think are best to see what kind of person Luke is and the character development.

Re: All Things Michael Welch

This kinda sucks. They have ads up on MySpace for Twilight now, it's like "Meet the characters of Twilight". And there's 10 of the main characters you can click on. Mike's not among them. Is he really not among the 10 most important characters of the movie? I knew he didn't have one of the main roles, but this makes it look like he's only gonna be in, like, two scenes or something. neutral

He is important, for most of the first book at least.  He'll play a major part in at least the first half of the movie.  But no, he's never been a major character in the books.  The Cullens, the nomadic vampires and Jake(:puke:) are all more important characters than Mike though.

Re: All Things Michael Welch

But the main characters can't exist without the supporting character! At least that's what I think.

Re: All Things Michael Welch

Maria, as much as I love Mike & Aaron, I can't tell you much about how to write Luke & Friedman.  I just don't care about writing them, really.  We've got smatterings of both guys in Butterflies, but they just really don't interest me in terms of fanfic.  Sorry.

I just watched it, it's really good. Michael's such a smart guy. I love it how he says he's not a cool person. Come on, Michael, don't be so modest. Of course you're cool. You don't have to be emo or trendy to be cool.

Another reason you need to see Joan Of Arcadia, Illinois.
