What brand might a tall woman who has such a hard time finding jeans that are long enough and that is nice to your wallet be? :)  I'd appreciate it!

Re: Jeans

Sorry, I have the opposite problem.  I'm short.  If TeeJay was American and knew American sizes, she could help.  She's rather leggy.  In a good way.  smile

Re: Jeans

Yeah, I have the same problem you do. I can never find pants that are long enough, especially non-jeans (since jeans often come in different lengths--at least over here in Germany). Don't they do different lengths in the US too for jeans? I usually buy a brand called S'Oliver, but I don't think they have that in the US, do they? What length do you need? I usually need 34 or 36, depending on the brand or the way the pants are cut.

What about brands like Wrangler, Levi's or Lee? Or are those too pricey?

Re: Jeans

In the US, only men's jeans come in sizes that measure waist and length.  So a guy can get jeans for say a 30 inch waist and 36 inch long legs. But women's sizes just don't come that way.  Sometimes, if you're lucky you can find women's sizes that run in petite, regular and tall.  But not in the good brands, usually.  That's why it's hard for me to find jeans.  They just don't make pretty clothes for women with my shape.

Re: Jeans

Yeah, regular pants are hard to find too.  I  need 40.  Yeah, I've been trying Lee's lately but not exactly fit.  Levi's and Wranglers never worked for me.  Ha, at one point I was wearing men's jeans.   I think someone told me about Gap jeans but haven't looked into it.  Thanks all!
