We've posted it now in both an audio file and a transcription. This is about the first third of the interview. We apologize for taking so long to start posting this and for doing it in parts. Besides dealing with technical issues, real life stuff has just been getting in the way. Hopefully, we'll get the next part up a lot quicker than we got this one up.

Oh, as far as the interview goes, the best is yet to come. We got him talking about JoA and he got pretty riled up talking about the cheating plot. And kissing Amber, and picking on Mike, and how much he loves Mary Steenburgen. We talked about spirituality and his philosphy of life. We got a great story about the craziest thing he's done lately...

It just got better as it went along. He made us laugh quite a lot. We'll get it online as soon as possible.

Glad you're enjoying it, Dawn. The next part is predominately JoA talk. Without prompting, he got quite animated about his feelings on T&E. I think you'll dig it.

TeeJay's working on the audio as she can next week so we might have it online next weekend. I just have a tiny bit of transcribing left to do.

Well, this one was a lot of fun. He talked about how much he and Amber hated that storyline and confessed that he purposefully did a lousy job on the table read that week because he was so upset about it and that's probably why they didn't use that one on the DVD instead of Common Thread. He talked about how the producers told him they'd always try to accomodate him if he booked a movie but that the first time something came up, American Gun, he had to kind of fight for it, contrary to what they said. He talked about teasing Mike Welch while he was trying to shoot some complicated dialog. And how he loved it when Adam got feisty about his art (like in Election). He also talked about working with and kissing Amber, how she used to pick on him and tease him. And how she tried to get him a part in one of her movies, but met with resistance for one small reason... Let's just say I understand why it didn't happen and it might've been quite shocking if it had...

Haven't see much just Sisterhood and Russell Girl. Ever since you've told me about Stephanie Daley I've been trying to search for it in stores and I can't find it. I'm just dying to see it.

Stephanie Daley was a Blockbuster exclusive when it was released and they had a bunch of them. They might still have a few used copies. Have you tried there yet? It's not that one though. You haven't seen the movie in question. It's a shocking enough movie on it's own, but to know that Chris might've been in it and who he might've played is like...

You should order Stephanie Daley from Amazon or Ebay, Dawn. It's pretty cheap from used sellers. You should ask for it for Christmas. That's what I did. : ]

On Amazon, I just thought 22 wasn't that great of a price but what do I know. Yeah, thanks, I'll probably get it used.

That's a ridiculous price for SD! I think I'd defiinitely call around to all the Blockbusters in your area first and see if they still have any copies for sale used.

And Dawn, please don't refer to Normal Adolescent Behavior as Havoc 2. There's a history there. That movie went through a lot of crap. And when it was dumped on video the studio chose to slap that awful subtitle on there. I took a black Sharpie to my copy and got rid of any mention of it. NAB has absolutely ZERO to do with that garbage known as Havoc. It was not a sequel in any sense of the word. This was simply a cynical, calculated ploy by the video marketing arm of the studio to make a couple of extra exploitative bucks off the film. I was in that business for many years so I've seen it a million times.

I have the same problem with the change of title from The Beautiful Ordinary to Remember The Daze.

Amber was so disappointed in the treatment of NAB that she pretty much disowned it. She encourages people who are interested to just read the script instead of watching the movie, and to especially avoid the watered-down TV version that occasionally runs on Lifetime. Personally, I loved the R-rated DVD version. I think she was utterly brilliant in it. Have you ever seen it?
