You're missing some good movies, there Illinois. Especially Shawshank.

It would be an incredibly hard movie for most people not to love, I think. You see it and you just get so swept up in it emotionally. It's very powerful and totally satisfying in the end.

Just looking at the list again, and noticed Little Miss Sunshine, at the same time as i've got it on the TV. Another film, that i loved after first seeing it. There's just something about it, that always puts a smile on my face. Music in it is great too.

I'm not saying that they are bad or anything, just that the films don't interest me personally.
Just that the subject matter doesn't interest me that much.
As for the one that I didn't like at all, The Thing. I found it too gory. Plus the scene with the dogs is just sickening in my opinion. I much prefer the 1950's version. Sure it may be hokey to some, but I liked the original one so much better.

I really like Little Miss Sunshine as well. I saw it in theaters and didn't have high expectations for liking it a lot. I ended up loving it though and it's 1 of my favorite movies.
