LOL!  Yeah, he's pretty adorable.  He was on Friday Night Lights in the first season.  The son of an older woman that Tim Riggins got involved with.  And of course the kid worshipped Riggins.  The funny part was that he always called him TimRiggins.  Never just Tim.  And Drunken Bee called the kid, Little Sandy Duncan.  lol

All he needs is Melanie Griffith and a head in a box and he's all set.  big_smile

In the early part of the clip I thought Sandra Bullock was Bonnie Hunt.  She's having a nice little resurgance lately.  Good for her!

I like her with blondish hair.  She looks very pretty in this movie.  The whole movie just looks gorgeous.

Um, just learned about this movie today.  Jemaine from Flight Of The Conchords, Michael Angarano and Sam Rockwell are in it.  Looks really silly, but pretty funny.

I now officially look forward to see Remember Me. I read the script last night and I (was devastated, but) think it's going to be a great movie. Drama as I like it.

Yeah, and I sure hope Susan Sarandon isn't relagated to playing grannies for the rest of her career.  She's a baby boomer, and they're always gonna be cool!:D

Just got home from seeing Sherlock Holmes.  It's awesome, very entertaining.  RDJ is terrific and so is Jude Law.  Hope it becomes a franchise...

Re: Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to?

I think the trailer ran before every showing of Avatar that I've seen, so that makes it four times. Twice in English and twice in German. And I can't say the trailer intrigued me in any way. I had a Sherlock Holmes phase when I was a teen, I think I read pretty much all of the novels. And this movie just somehow doesn't connect to the books. It seems like it's the Conan Doyle characters who time-traveled into the 21st century to kick ass with as many modern action effects as possible. From what I could gather, it has nothing to do with the novels I've read and the stories and characters envisioned there.

I'm sure it's a fun movie if you're willing to accept that it's nothing like the books, and I hope everyone who goes see it will have as much fun as Deb had. smile

Re: Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to?

Never read the books.  Not much of a fan of the character, specifically.  The only other Sherlock I enjoyed was Murder By Decree which was a totally made-up, non-canonic story about Holmes becoming involved in the hunt for Jack The Ripper.  It was my first exposure to the Royal theory.  It's a great little film with wonderful performances by Christopher Plummer as Holmes and the late great James Mason as Watson. The plot of this new Holmes was vaguely reminiscent of that film.  I'd say if you like Guy Ritchie's stuff, you might enjoy it.  If not, and you're a purist, stay away.  Personally, I hope they get to make a sequel, which they totally set up in this one.  I've heard that they want to do a Moriarty-centered story next time, with Bad Pitt in the role...

Re: Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to?

I guess I just always imagined Holmes as a bit of an eccentric character but nevertheless more the calm and serene type. The guy who would solve a problem not by going in, guns blazing, punching people in the stomach, but by thinking about it and then acting accordingly. It's kinda hard to explain, especially since it's so long ago that I read the books. Suffice to say, the Holmes and Watson they showed in the trailer were nothing like the characters I had in mind from the Conan Doyle books. And even though I wouldn't consider myself a purist, it still bothers me enough not to want to see the movie.

Re: Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to?

You have a bit of a misconception of the movie from the trailer.  Remember, trailers often feature the most action-packed stuff.  But still, it's probably not gonna be your cuppa.
