Nah, it's not "sort of like Layla's", but I was working on a new painting back then when we talked about the story.

Yeah, I love that one too. But we have to remember to fix Layla's last name in TBT before we publish it, TeeJay. I forgot we had already give her a last name before we chose Harrison.

Yeah, I believe your painting inspired this story. I think I kind of wanted Layla's painting to be a little more like Anne's, but somehow that didn't work with what I saw in front of my mind's eye. Glad you all like the D story, I do too.

Carol, was that you leaving a review on FFN? If so, thanks, that made my day! Also, Sandefur on FFN left me a review, saying Joan was too bitter in the B story, even for that point in her life. I don't agree, actually. What do you guys think?
