I've read all the books, too, and just loved most of them. She's got several other series, too. If you like the Sookie books, you might wanna check out the Harper Connelly ones. Harper can find dead bodies and tell how they died. She's had that power ever since she was struck by lightning.

Hahaha Mum and Dad both go away for a few days so I CAN'T call home and talk to them and they arent on facebook for me to "talk" to them that way. They get back and panic when they are home for one day and havent heard from me. HAHA its ok I have already been sending emails to them and I even left a phone message while they were away. Honestly I know they mean well, but come on, calm down just a teeny bit

Are these books by Charlaine Harris? I hear those are great! I didn't realize that true blood was a series based on these books. Thought they were different for some reason. Are they a fun read? Sorry I'm a little bit out of the True Blood madness. I'm sure I'd like it but I think it would be to graphic for me!

I have read only a few of the books and I am pretty much hooked....its alittle difficult to start reading a series while traveling though so havent kept it up but when I get home I will go hunting for them. The books are written in the same style and alot of the events and scenes from the show are the same but they mix up time lines abit and cut stuff out (but this usually happens every time a book is converted). The books are still alot about sex and raunch like the show is, but I think they do it more tastefully....besides reading it means its only as explicit as your imagination

They also change characters around. Like Tara and Lafayette. And my Godric is completely different from the book.

Yup. Tara isnt even in the first book and Lafayette plays such a small role in the books. Godric is just odd in the books. I much prefer him from the show....that and drool time.

Godric is coming back in Season 4! Woohoo! It was just announced today. They say we're going to see a different side of him. I'm hoping we get to see how, when and by whom he was made.
