Bones

Does anyone else love this show the way that I do? It's probably the only show aside from JOA which I can watch and re-watch again and again...
All of the characters are awesome and work so well together, plus the addition of Dr. Sweets in the third season was like the writers took my personal request. (he's played by John Francis Daly, formerly of Freeks & Geeks)
if Chris somehow ended up on this show I think it might literally blow my mind, it would just be far too overwhelming for me! Haha
so if anyone else here watches the show I'd love to talk about it!
Favorite episodes/characters?

Re: Bones

Haha, Deb and I were in an episode of Bones. Well, sort of. smile Maybe you've read the story about our trip to LA in 2008, Samantha. If you have, you'll know. If you haven't, I really recommend you do so. It's on the main site in the About Chris - Meeting Chris section. Most amazingly, our friend Rick here (Editsound) invited us to join a sound editing session of a Bones episode. Deb and I got to do a little snippet of background dialogue that you can barely hear. (Thanks again, Rick!!!)

I don't watch the show, though.

Re: Bones

I love the show!  I haven't seen every single ep though because of one of the times the moved it.  It was against one of my holy shows or something and I kind of lost track of it for a while, but I've seen a lot of it.  Maybe two thirds of it.  We'll talk more when I have more time.  I'm leaving in like 15 minutes to go to a BBQ Fest and to see District 9.  I'll be back on tonight.

I haven't seen most of season 4 yet because my work schedual is so strange that I'm usually never home when the show airs and I haven't got a DVR so I wait for the dvd's.
So far I'd have to say my favorite episode is season 2 episode 9, Aliens In A Spaceship.
It was so amazingly well acted. I cry every time I see it. Plus, Hodgins is my favorite character and he shows such development. I adore him and Angela, I really want them to get back together.

I'll always have hope in that area! haha
Next to A/J they are my favorite tv couple.
I also quite like Zach. I think I saw him on a teaser trailer for season 5 too! I wonder if they can find a way to bring him back as a main character?

Re: Bones

Totally...but I mean with the way they wrote him out they would have to think of something pretty damn creative to bring him back in.

Which episode is it that you guys were kinda in? Not gonna lie, I'm pretty jealous. I think I'd give my left leg just to walk(hop?) through the lab.
I'd include my right leg if I could walk(roll?) through the lab and bump into Booth wink

Re: Bones

This one.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1248452/plotsummary

We basically sat in on a sound editing session in a studio at the CNN building in LA.  It was cool as hell in there.  All these video bays with big sound boards.  Rick sat with us and explained a lot of what his friends were doing. And they explained a lot too and showed us how they put in (mostly naughty) in-jokes here and there.  We recorded some adlibbed dialog that you can barely hear at the very beginning of the first scene after the opening credits.  If you listen super-close you can her me say, "Where are we sending it again?" And that's it.  TeeJay's next line was about some lab in Germany that we talked about sending a sample to.  The guys said they had trouble getting actors to adlib stuff so smoothly in one take. LOL!

I haven't seen that episode yet! I'll certainly keep a listen for your lines when I do.
October 6th is the release date for season 4.

Re: Bones

Yeah, I'm thinking I might be able to hear more off the DVD played on my computer than off VHS on my crappy old TV.  I'll have to Netflix that beeyotch.  You've heard my voice in the interviews, right?  You might be able to pick it out.

Re: Bones

Dude!  I totally get that.  I'm an insomniac from way back.  At least since I was 14 or so.  Even on work nights when I have to be up at 7:15, I sometime have trouble crashing before 1 AM.
