What's up, JoA fans?

I pretty recently got into JoA after watching a few episodes on Sci-Fi or Sy-Fy as is it's called now. I was intrigued by it and started getting the DVDs from the library. Somehow I drifted here after posting on the IMDB board for JoA and was invited. I'm in the process of watching the last few episodes now. The last one I saw was "Spring Cleaning". I found myself rather annoyed by the Trial and Error debacle which is what caused me to post on IMDB.

Anyway, I just figured I'd drop and say, "hey" since I was invited. I'm not obsessed but I rather like the show. I'm a guy, btw - and I am straight just in case anyone was wondering. So yeah that's pretty much it. Maybe I'll stick around for a bit.

Hi there, welcome. We're all big JoA fans around here, and I know how you feel about the Trial and Error episode. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I'm sure you'll find lots of fellow fans here to discuss JoA with.

Hey, Poweranimals,

Deb here.  I'm the one who invited you over.  Nice to see you drop by.  Don't worry, we have other straight guys here.  We're not all drooling, obsessive women.  You're safe.  wink

Welcome to the MB.  Hope you do stick around for a while.  Since most of us have been into JoA for a very long time and we love to discuss the show, please let us know if you ave any questions, or please feel free to open any new topics on the show.  Hope to talk to you more soon.

Re: What's up, JoA fans?

Thanks for the welcome. I only have one episode left of the series. I'm looking forward to it but at the same time disappointed that it'll soon be over for me. I guess I'll have to be content with following the actors' future roles. I didn't realize they had done so many projects. Though I'll admit I've never heard of most of those projects.

There's some good stuff in their credits.  A lot of terrific little indies that flew under the radar.  I could recommend some things to watch if I had more of an idea of your personal taste.

Hey Poweranimals....welcome from me too! Yup alot of films were lacking in the publicity department. But they are still a really good watch if you get around to it smile

I really enjoyed it. The Ryan Hunter character was an interesting addition and I was intrigued by his influence on the show. I was a little annoyed however knowing that there would be no resolution to any of it but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. I'm feeling a little bitter that they canceled it. At least it's fall season so there should be a few shows to fill the void.

On a curious and sort of related note, is anyone planning on watching "Flash Forward" on ABC? It's supposed to be a sci-fi show about people who after an incident start having visions of the future. It sounds kind of interesting.

I'll be watching Flash Forward.  It looks great.

And welcome to the JoA Bitterness Brigade.  LOL!  Took me at least a year to get over the cancellation.  All I can say is that I'm grateful for the community I found online.  Not sure what I would've done without them.  wink

Re: What's up, JoA fans?

Thanks very much for the compliments.  We'll probably do something for Chris for his birthday.  We haven't started planning it yet.  Just keep checking the Special Projects thread.  We'll announce it there when we start working on it.  Hope we see you around a lot.  Welcome to the board.  You're our first member from Serbia.  Chris loves hearing all the different places in the world where people appreciate his work.  big_smile

What shall we call you?
