Don't get all riled up. I think you'll like what we did with TPWNSNBR.

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Turned her into a hooker? big_smile (Sorry, couldn't resist, I was just thinking of my nightmare fic I once wrote. LOL) Let her die? (Okay, that's too cruel.

Hmmmm .... she became a priest and now she's going to be the priest at Joan's and Adam's wedding. Oh God, what a thought. No. That would be too weird. LOL Well, then hurry up with finishing the chapter! I wanna read it!

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

What??? yikes One of my guesses was actually right? Wow! But ... which one?
Oh God. So she is either a hooker, dead or a priest. Hmmmm .... Or was it the art show guess? Is she having an art show? Oh, no, I want Adam to have an art show! Pleeeeeezzzz!!! :applause:

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Art show, art show, art show!  LOL!

OK, we can work that out at some point.  That is a partially correct guess too, actually.  The chapter does involve and art show, but that's not what I meant.  One of the other guesses is also correct.

I LOVE THAT! LOL
The scenes at the art show are so funny. Joan thinking of all those people being God, that cracks me up every time I watch it, especially the poetry guy. big_smile

Okay let me guess. I don't think the hooker thing is true. I mean, what would Adam to there? Nonononono! yikes
The priest thing was actually just a joke, so I guess she is dead. Which is sad actually. I don't know if I would "like" that. I mean, it's Bonnie, but ... you're not happy about an other person's death. So ... I am curious! :clueless:

And note: My next wish for Butterflies is that Adam will have a biiiiiiig art show. He deserves it and I think it fits very well into the story. smile

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Yeah, you need to finish the season so we can drool together.  There's a lot more good than bad in there.  You can do it.  Once you finish, Butterflies ( as well as The Haircut and Future Prospects) will be a balm for your soul, I promise.  That's what it is for TeeJay and I.  It's our way of fixing what went wrong.

The first few chapters are short.  Very short.  And they heat up at the end of chapter four.  When I first started reading fics, I used to print out one a day and take it with me to lunch to read.  Pretty soon, I was taking 3 or 4 a day with me.  It became an addiction.

When I ran out of stuff to read, that's when I started wanting to write. Now, I can't stop.  :-)

I need to start reading Butterflies again. I got pretty far into it and then quit reading when the move started. Quite the amazing piece of fan fiction. smile

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

You're printing it out? Wow. Big job. I actually would not print it out. Not because I don't like it, that's not true, haha, I rather think my dad would kill me if he found out that I am printing out a novel. LOL

But it has more than 300 pages by now, I think. And the story isn't finished yet!

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

I suggested printing it out one chapter at a time to make it portable so you can read it anywhere.  The first chapter is only 8 pages or so.  The second is only 4 pages.  The chapters don't start getting long until about the tenth one or so.  And when the later ones started getting really long, we broke the chapters into parts that are only 10-12 pages.  Dee, your printer could surely handle 8 pages here, 4 there, maybe 6 the next chapter.  You get a lunch break, right?  Perfect time to read one chapter.

Just a suggestion.
