I will be honest in saying that I only watched this movie becuase of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but I found out it was really good. I loved the Chris Pratt character. He was so unique. He kind of had this quite thing to him but yet it said so much. It was really depressing what happened to him though, and how bad he just wanted to go back to the way things were. I was infact dissapointed with the trailer though. It made it seem like the whole "I have the money...I have the power." scene was going to be much more powerful than it was. I reccomend it though. It was good. Especially if you like Joseph. He really shows his talent...I think

Great movie Paige!!!!! although i would have 2 say that i am prolly a little more interested in Isla Fisher than I was Joe.ha! I agree with u on the chris character though, plus he plaued hockey which was cooler. What was your favorite scene?
Offline
My favorite scene? Gosh idk. I dont want to say too much without giving it away to people who might want to see it. Well the begining scene where he shows her the fireflies because it is just so sweet. I think probably when he was shaving and he started to cry. I dont know Joesph is just an amazing actor. When he cries...wow it is just phenomenal. I admit that I cracked up everytime that he said "I wake up and take a shower....with soap"

Yeah I agree so wat did u mean about the money power quote? and plx re-explain to me the bar scene in Fanboys how you said you thought it was different
Offline
Ok on the trailer for The Lookout Joesph said "I have the money....I have the power." Ok more like he yelled it. I thought it was really cool....idk why. On the movie though he just kind of says I have the power, then the guy on the phone says "what?" So Joseph says I have the money I have the power, but he kind of stutters it. Then on the thrid try it is how they show in the trailer haha. And about Fanboys...When you see Sam Huntington's character go up to the bar tender he asks for a glass of water. Then when they who his face again, he has a shity look before the guy says 100 bucks. Which probably manes that in the actual movie the guy said something to piss him off. So that dialogue and everything is probably much different.Im just pit ballin there though idk

ahh yeah it wasnt like the trailer. how do u notice stuff like that? like in Fanboys not many ppl would try and guess that a scene is going 2 b different just by looking at facial expressions. ur crazy cool
Offline
ha you cant give me too much credit. I was hardcore paying attention to Sam's face cause he is gorgeous. You were wrong yesterday. I didnt pay close attention to that scene cause a half naked Linus swinging around a pole. Or did i?:/ ok i admit when i saw it, it was mind of a jaw dropper. In a "yay!" kind of way not "shocked"

I have to take back Full Nelson to the store tomorrow (Ryan Gosling was amazing). Gonna try to pick up The Lookout, but only if I can keep it for more than 2 days.
Why how in the world could you ever be distracted by half-naked Linus? Did I ever send you the wally TeeJay made of that scene?

i just saw " the lookout ". i really liked the movie, a little less the robbing the bank plot.
this movie just came at a time that i have been thinkig about how easy it is to destroy your life. this last month i just heard about so many car accidents and so many deaths. some of them i knew, not close people, just people i knew. and obviously, even worse than getting killed in a car accident is surviveing a car acident.
and once again joseph blew me away.
how come this kids are so talented but they don't get that much attention???:/

i also watched " manic " yesterday, beeing in a joseph mood. he is awsome yet again, but the movie is avarage, especially if you saw " girls interupted " , it just screams deja -vu.

The last movie I watched was A Scanner Darkly.
Well ... I actually thought I would understand better, but unfortunately I didn't. I mean, what I got was, it was about drugs. I need to watch it again sometime.

don't worry to much about getting it. it is exactly what you see. it is a story, portraied a little diferent. and like a friend of mine said " a stoner movie " - just joking. but this was my take on the the movie, it was about drugs and it made me feel like i was on drugs.

Yeah, that's probably because it looks like a comic movie. LOL
