I'll stick around here and check in and everything. I just...need some time away from a few places.

Re: Randomness

I totally get that.  I've had to leave IMDb a couple of times because people get nasty over there.  Hopefully, nothing like that will ever happen here.

Hope everyone's having a good Saturday night.  TeeJay and I are about to watch some JoA.  It's so much fun having someone to watch the show with who loves it for the same reason you do.  big_smile

Re: Randomness

It's a bit early for you to be up on a Sunday, isn't it, Anne. TeeJay just crashed.  I'm not ready to go yet.  We watched the commentary for Common Thread.

Re: Randomness

This sorta relates back to Numb3rs. I don't know if anyone knows Aaron Stanford? He was Pyro in the X-Men movies, Doug in The Hills Have Eyes, Will in the new show Travelor and a few indie movies. Anyway, I think he's a good actor, I like him, he'll be in a new epiosode for the next season of Numb3rs, the episode is Hollywood Homicide. So, I'm looking forward to that.
Anne, David is great. I think like many people my age, I fell in love him him(theoretically speaking) when i saw him as Bernard in the Santa Clause. But he's continued to be a favorite actor of mine with his other roles. He's just a great actor.

Did anyone see him in Superbad?

I can't place the name.  Who'd he play in Superbad?

Re: Randomness

I have to find a way to be able to watch my Joan DVDs on Cooper. roll

I explained the earlyness of today in the other thread. wink

This Laptop is driving me crazy. When I watch something with WMP and keep it small, the sound is clear, but as soon as I make it bigger, the sound starts to sound damaged somehow. Grrr. I HATE that! roll

One of the crackheads who was in the room with Martin Starr, when Cera started singing "These Eyes". I think he had a ponytail. smile

Re: Randomness

Did you see the Superbad guys on the Teen Choice Awards tonight?  They were cute.  Also, Dan Fogler was there.  And Alpha Dog got a mention since JT was nominated for breakout movie actor.  We watched the first half of it, which was difficult because of all the screaming.  Zach Efron couldn't even get a sentence out because of it.  Why do little girls scream?

Re: Randomness

Nah I missed it, damn! Maybe I can find a torrent of it, like I did with the MTV Movie Awards. I suck so bad at watching things on TV.

And as to why little girls scream, I honestly have no idea. I was, embarrassingly enough, a self-proclaimed teeny bopper from age 11-14 or so, but I never did any screaming. Then again, I didn't really go for the obvious teen pretty boys. I've always been partial to the nerdy guys tongue So maybe it has something to do with that, who knows.

Is this Amber Tamblyn's poetry or spam? You decide.

I honestly can't tell.  I have her book and have seen some of her new readings... she's just so random it's hard to tell.  It sounds like her though.

Re: Randomness

Well, I hope we get a similar break in our weather soon.  We're still mostly in the mid-to-upper 90's.  I used to love September because baseball starts to really matter and it gets cooler.  But the Braves haven't mattered in a while and it gets cooler later every year.  sad
