I don't think they're close to him ... if I was close friends with an actor I would not go to a board like imdb and post rumors about her/his private life. They are just jealous, that's all.

I know. I think that's mainly due to the fact that not enough pages are linking us, since Google ranks by how many pages have links to your site. At least that's what I heard. And I don't know what to do about it, other than asking other pages for links back.

The boards(or really, board i should say) I most go on isn't really that rude. And the Buffy and Angel boards aren't really that rude. It's a pretty much welcoming board.
But if you read some of the comments about the band(THE board I am most on is a band) you wouldn't think we were fans of them at all with how we poke fun of them. But isn't that a show of fans. To notice mistakes, and not to praise them for every little thing.... And-to-maybe-constantly-make-gay-jokes-about-two-members-and-convince-newbies-that-secretly-they-are-really-dating-and-just-have-girlfriends-as-a-cover-to-hide-their-relationship.

Or is that just us?:clueless:

First, I must thank the JOA IMDB board because that is where Deb told me about your board, which has been a nice addition to my life. A place where I can talk with some bright friendly people, about a show which ended a while ago, but which I continue to think about.

However, most of the boards there are full of jerks and worse. Have you ever checked out the board for the kid who played Rocky on JOA? My daughter goes to school with him, and she wanted to look him up on IMDB. So, we did, and since we were there, I looked at his board. It has lots of posts from someone who is clearly obsessed with the kid (and I gotta tell you, it sounds like an adult), and the poster is looking for personal information about the kid. I had to warn my daughter to NEVER respond to things like this (she might have innocently given the name of their school, and then who knows what might have happened).

Kind of got off on a tangent. but basically, ignore the bastards!!!

The same goes for any site, really. There are some really bad eggs out there. And kids should NEVER give out personal info on the 'net. It's OK to give your first name if you want to, but keep your last name to yourself. If you post your age don't post the name of your school. You don't have to be weird about it, but it's healthy to be a little paranoid because not everyone has good intentions.
