Area of Greater Charm
Trying to be where you are, when you're there, isn't as easy as it sounds. It's like the world in my head has such a strong pull that I can't actually pay attention to the reality around me. There's a saying in TM that the mind is drawn to an area of greater charm, and I think that instant gratification is that instinct run amok. Like there is always a cuter boy, a more fun activity to do, something new to read, wear, watch, do, be, and become. But maybe, if I can just sit still long enough I can bleed one reality into the next and see that the area of greater charm is in my heart and in your face.

I had to read it three times to grasp what it means, but, yes, it's great wisdom. And I totally know what she's talking about. So, is "your face" who I think she is talking about? Or is she just talking to people in general? Also, I totally think our Joaniverse(s) are our areas of greater charm, aren't they?

Denn es gibt immer einen besser aussehender Mann, eine interessantere Beschäftigung der man sich widmen kann, etwas Neues zu lesen, tragen, anzugucken, tun, sein und werden. Aber vielleicht, wenn ich lange genug still sitze, kann ich eine Realität mit der anderen verschmelzen lassen und dann feststellen, dass der Bereich des größeren Anreizes in meinem Herzen und deinem Gesicht ist.
