Great more fodder for nightmares.  Beautifully shot though.

At first I thought it was one of those Camel Spiders from Iraq... the picture made it look HUGE.

Re: Randomness

This is really beautiful...

Area of Greater Charm

Trying to be where you are, when you're there, isn't as easy as it sounds. It's like the world in my head has such a strong pull that I can't actually pay attention to the reality around me. There's a saying in TM that the mind is drawn to an area of greater charm, and I think that instant gratification is that instinct run amok. Like there is always a cuter boy, a more fun activity to do, something new to read, wear, watch, do, be, and become. But maybe, if I can just sit still long enough I can bleed one reality into the next and see that the area of greater charm is in my heart and in your face.

Wanna know who said it?

Re: Randomness

Could be anyone. Is it connected to JoA? Then my next guess would be Mary Steenburgen...

Aha! Now I know, I've seen it on her page. smile It doesn't have a JoA connection, but it has a Chris connection.

Re: Randomness

I had to read it three times to grasp what it means, but, yes, it's great wisdom. And I totally know what she's talking about. So, is "your face" who I think she is talking about? Or is she just talking to people in general? Also, I totally think our Joaniverse(s) are our areas of greater charm, aren't they?

Re: Randomness

By "in your face", I just think she means to be bold and brave and live everything to the fullest, in the moment.

Re: Randomness

What she said was really beautiful, so let me translate it for you:

So, who did say it? Was it Mary Steenburgen?
