Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Posted a new Adam/Grace story that's basically been sitting on my computer for over two months.  I haven't changed it much in two months, so I don't know why it took so long to post... it is a little bit like Ashley's story 'Reversing the Stitches', only very different... and if you understood that welcome to my brain.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Heh, the limo joke that sort of ran between two of the drabbles (probably unintentional) made me giggle. The shovel one made me chuckle and feel bad for Joan at the same time. Attack of the killer sculptures?

Awww... I wanna hug Adam (bad idea, bad idea)! Very descriptive, like Deb said. Gave me the shivers a bit.

My life long dream is to somehow get Adam Rove into a puppy-suit. Until then, my imagination will have to tide me over.

It was actually intentional.  TeeJay said in the story where Joan whinned about Adam not having a limo that next time they should have a limo and that sparked the other story.

Yeah, it would be a bad idea to hug Adam... maybe when his ribs heal we can all attack him at once.

Thanks smile

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

I finally posted my first story in... christ, three days.  I think that's the longest I've gone without writing anything (with the expection of when I was on vacation) since early July.   It's Adam and Joan even though it's not really... I even don't know, I've just been kinda scatter-brained these last few days.

I have a few in progress, but they're all annoying me for various reasons so I have no idea when I'm gonna have a new one up.  sad

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

I posted another Adam/Grace one that's been sitting on my computer forever.   Starts off slightly McPunisher on Adam, but only because I just finished watching my season 2 DVDs and I was mad at him.

Edit: well, I guess I'm back.  Literally two minutes after I posted this I spit out a new Joan/Adam fic... with Judith mentions.

Yep, I'm back to my old writing ways smile

Posted a semi-smutty (no sex, just nudity and an implied boner) Adam/Joan one.  Deb, it's the one we talked about yesterday after I showed you the Amber Tamblyn picture. wink

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Thanks, and in response to the Modeling review...

Adam discreetly adjusts himself in his chair before she notices...

I was gonna say he was hiding at one point, hoping his jeans were holding it back but that would have strayed into R territory and for some reason I felt like keeping them innocent in this one.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Another thing I meant to say in the story but got lost somewhere in my brain: it was the first time he saw her naked, so jumping her wasn't really an option in this one wink

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Posted a new Adam/Joan one... probably not what you'd expect for Adam and Joan to do on a night without kids, but after years of marriage they're pretty boring.  But still cute wink ... I hope

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Okay, jumping back here again! Sorry for all the drifting, guys- I've been busy lately... This is going backward through Laura's last five (AKA, first one means the one farthest back).

First one was so wonderful. I've had situations in my life like that (and I've written them), and it's so easy to connect with.

Second one? Wow. That made me so... wow. I love the illustrations of the paper boats. It had some sort of happy-sad behind it. I liked.

The third one had a hint of happy 'til the end. It was wonderfully scripted- sad, but good. Joan should be happy remembering Judith for once, though.

xD The fourth one was cute in an odd way. I loved it. Made me chuckle a lot. I wonder if Joan would be comfortable modeling nude. I mean, her reaction to that imfamous panty-shot is enough there. Still, I loved it, especially Adam's voice cracking.

EDIT: Whoops! Forgot another! The fifth one made me die laughing, because I can totally relate to the... video game love. ^_^ Totally cute. "When did we become so boring?" Hehe.

Thanks, Ashley

And I am working on a Joanith story where Joan actually comes to peace with Judith's death... I just haven't decided if Adam will be in there yet.   smile

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Well, I think I'd be - ohgoshI'mgonnasayit - okay if Adam wasn't in the story. Joan's friendship was Judith was just so wonderful and so powerful at her death that I just wanna see a story where Joan starts to remember the happy times instead of dwelling on the bad.

Of course, your best friend dying is not something one can just wake up one day and say "oh, I'm better now", so it reasonable that many stories - mine included, I do believe - don't have Joan moving on (nngh, "moving on" is a bad choice of words).
