Re: Private Practice

I was so gonna make a topic about this earlier, but I knew you'd be right on my tail.  I loved it too.  Chris Lowell is so... so....  When the boy has a shirt off.... I'm tredding on Adult Only territory now...

Re: Private Practice

Oh yeah, I'm feelin' it.  But it was more than that.  Great dialog.  Cool storyline.  So many amazing people involved, Mark Tinker, Mark Gordon, Marti Noxon.  As if Shonda needs them.  But wow.

I'm gonna get all weird and alternative on you and single out Paul Adlestein.  I love this guy.  Interestingly, his character is named Cooper.  And he's kinda like a cute, lovable, manic Chris horndog character at 40.  Not saying they look alike.  Just that I could see Chris playing this part at 40, or Adlestein playing an older version of Chris in a movie.

http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0972412/ … in,%20Paul

He was a hardcore bad guy who finally grew a conscience on Prison Break's first two seasons.  Very steely character, but there was always something vulnerable underneath.  And not in an endearing way.  For a year, you hated him.  Wanted him dead.  Then he turned and helped the good guys.  Strange bird.

Of course, I've been a fan of Amy Brenneman and Tim Daly (brother of Amy's TV mom, Tyne in Judging Amy) for many, many years.  Taye Diggs I've loved since How Stella Got Her Groove Back, which Dave and I saw in the theatre.

I have high hopes for this show.  So far, I've been entertained by every minute of the pilot/crossover last  season and this first ep of its first season.  As long as that continues, I'm all over this show.

I only have one question, what's with Lowell's upper lip fuzz?  It looked so weird!  Luckily, the rest of him is scrumpdillyumptuous.  tongue

PS: TeeJay, on IMDb, there's a thread accusing Paul of tweezing his eyebrows.  LOL!

LOL! Okay, I'm gonna have to download lots of things this week. All the shows are starting again. Better clear the hard drive on my laptop.

I have no idea.  I can't say I really noticed it... it's really light and, unlike our Chris' old beard, it doesn't scream at you.  For now, I'm cool with it.  When it gets longer and starts screaming at me, then I'll deal with it.

One thing I read on IMDb that kinda shocked me, they wanted Chris Lowell to be a stupid piece of eye candy who just answered phones and walked around with a shirt off, but couldn't seem to form sentences.  I wouldn't have minded more shirtless!Chris but I wouldn't have liked it if he was stupid, he's my second favorite Chris in the world and it would have broken my heart if they didn't give him a brain, even better that they gave him "midwifery" skills.

May I order a copy, please? big_smile I am DYING to see this! And I am also dying to see the season premieres of GA and Numb3rs.
Ironically, the third season of GA just started in Germany. Well, a few weeks ago. And it's sooo boring!

A lot of people think the third season of GA sucked... I have to admit I'm one of them.

Re: Private Practice

I thought every single episode of GA was great. Okay, maybe not great, but I loved each one as I was watching it. It's not a show where I would go back and rewatch certain episodes or scenes (unlike JoA for instance), but I still couldn't wait for each and every new episode, once they ended.

No, I didn't want to say the third season is boring, it's just boring to rewatch it in German, because I've seen it all in English long before. LOL
My mom was driving me crazy yesterday because she had forgotten about Meredith drowning. roll

I just hope season 4 won't suck. I don't want Derek and Meredith to break up!!! :crying::crying::crying:

Re: Private Practice

The one I was gaga over last week.  He's just kind of an adorable middle aged horndog, like one of Chris's horndog characters all grown up.

Aww... Cooper hoped he would get laid (right, he's Cooper?)   Stripper guy is... the other one.   I don't know anyone on this show other than Addison.

Scroll up and follow the link to the pic of him with Amy Brenneman that I linked when we were talking about the sow last week.  He's so damn adorable I can barely stand it.

Re: Private Practice

Yeah, that's the Cooper I was thinking about.   Pete's Addison's guy, Sam is Naomi's ex.... then Will is Chris.  Did I get those right?  I have no idea who the people are on there yet.

I wonder if he comes with a 21" screen and how many GB of RAM he has. tongue

This week's episode made me cry big time. And then mom calls me on the phone in the most tear-jerking moment. roll And this time I also recognized Lowell's weird upper lip fuzz. Wonder if I should ask him about it...

Re: Private Practice

Hey what's with the weird upper lip fuzz, dude?

Yeah, I can see him now, thinking, Hey, that is my full and manly mustache!  Don't diss the 'stache!

If we put Lowell's lip fuzz together with Marquette's chin fuzz, we'd have one complete fuzzy man.
