How do you forget that scene? Adam was adorable with the stuttering and the faces.

I know I was thinking of that scene when I wrote it.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love that scene. One of my all time favorites from the show. I just somehow didn't make the connection.

I was disappointed Adam and Grace didn't get more scenes together, just the two of them. They would have been great.

Absolutely. It's also so weird that they only decided around episode Jump what Grace's and Adam's past actually looked like, that they were best friends. But Chris told us that in the beginning he wasn't even supposed to stay longer than one episode. Then they asked him if he could do four, and then they asked him if he would stay for the whole season. Explains why he wasn't in the s1 title theme. So I guess in the beginning the writers didn't really invest in Adam's character.

WHAT?!?!? I'm glad they decided to bring him back, I loved him from the first episode he was in.

Who would we be writing about if they didn't? Joan and Clay? No. Joan needed an adorable, slightly pathetic, boy with a heart of gold and a painful past. They probably could have written a boy like Adam named Harry for Joan to fall for, but it wouldn't have been the same.

It may seem sad for some people. But I don't see it that way. I've made a lot of cool friends through this fandom. And I've met some interesting people in the biz, had some amazing online encounters. And I wouldn't trade working on this website, writing Butterflies, that day on the set and meeting Chris, or my scruffy peck on the cheek at the FX Show for anything.

Same here.... but just being on the site and doing all the writing challenges. If it wasn't for JoA, I'd probably still be writing for Lizzie McGuire, which... no.

Let's put it this way: If Adam had only been in one episode, I wouldn't be sitting here, typing this. I second Deb when I say that through JoA, the fandom and this website some of the most amazing things and people have happened to me. I don't wanna trade it for anything. (Though, who knows, maybe otherwise I'd be sitting here, typing something like this for another actor in another fandom....... But I'm very sure it wouldn't be as awesome as all the things that have happened this past year.)

I know one thing: In another fandom with another actor, I wouldn't have written as many and as wonderful stories as I did (and am).

If Adam had only been in one episode, I wouldn't be sitting here either. I'm not even sure if I would have stayed with JoA. My English wouldn't be as good as it is today and I certainly would not watch all my favorite TV shows and movies in English.

(Wow, I just realized that my life would me very boring that way. LOL)
