LOL! Do have bruises all the time on your arms and legs and have no recollection of how you got them?

More recently, yeah. When I was little I broke bones and had no idea what I did to them. My bones are a little stronger now.

I guess I'm always bumping into stuff when I'm in a hurry, because I don't even realize I'm doing it. I also have a habit of punching and kicking walls, doors chairs and footstools in anger. I broke a knuckle once and my big toe once.

More proof of my klutziness: I just went out to get something out of my car and I smacked myself in the face with the door.
Maybe I'm not klutzy... I might just have horrible depth perseption.

Youch! I've hit my face on doors before. And don't you feel like such a genius afterward?

Oh yes. I cut my forehead just above my eye too, that's what hurts most. Car doors hurt worse than house doors, me thinks.

Totally. But I once had a collision with a convenience store door in one of my first jobs. It messed up my face pretty good. Everyone thought I'd been beat up. The store was afraid I was going to sue. It was one of these doors that's on a tight auto-close hinge. My hand slipped off the handle and it smacked me right in cheekbone. That sucked. Especially when the bruises started to heal and I was YELLOW.

Ouchy. My eyebrows all swollen up right now. I look like I got punched in the eye. Luckily, it doesn't look like it'll bruise but the cut is pretty nasty.

Should you get stitches?

No, it stopped bleeding pretty quickly. It just looks really bad, mostly because I haven't washed it yet and there's dried blood surrounding it.
Offline
Ouch ...
Recently I cut my finger on a sheet of paper (happens when you work with paper! LOL). It didn't bleed very much, but it hurt like hell ... that sucked!

I just washed it out, and it's really really small. That's the problem with paper cuts and tiny cuts... they don't cause that much trouble to you but they just hurt so bad, it makes you think it's worse than it is.
Offline
Yeah, that's the problem, especially if you have very sensitive skin (like me). I was kind of okay with the hurting but it sucked because when I moved my hand it hurt even more and that was bad because I had to move my hand because I had to work!

Oh, I know all about paper cuts. Just got myself one two days ago, but luckily it was tiny and it's almost healed again. I'm not usually a clumsy person, but I bruise easily. You just gotta look at me and I have a bruise.
And here's to saying I'm not usually a clumsy person, because I just stubbed my left pinky toe on my door's edge real bad. So bad I had to sit down for a minute because I hurt like the Mother of God. I've taped it to my "ring toe" now, just to be on the safe side. I don't think it's broken or anything, I can move it just fine and it doesn't even really hurt when I do. I'm just scared to stub it again tonight...
One of my colleagues broke her pinky toe a few months back (I believe also by stubbing her toe on a door or doorframe). She couldn't wear closed shoes for a while and then only sneakers. Looked real smart at work when she wore fancy clothes and then sneakers with it.

I did that once a few years ago. Casey's mom was visiting and we were all laughing and joking and I was not paying attention to where I was walking. Slammed my pinky toe into the door frame of my bedroom and broke it. It turned almost black instantly. Took a couple of months to completely heal.

Broken toes are always the most painful kind. Yours turned black, Deb? That doesn't sound good...

My mom once broke her toe when our neighbor's donkey stepped on it.

Burrita! I even have a picture of the culprit. She's the dark one in the back:

Well, it was a really dark purply color that looked almost black. Filled with blood, ya know.
Oh yeah, there were donkeys in my weird dreams last night too, TeeJay. Maybe it was YOUR tiny apartment. Although you weren't you. If that makes any sense.
