I've broken a few toes, stattered my pinky finger, broken my wrist, my ankle, a couple ribs, my knee, my collar bone, my shoulder, and torn a ligament in my ankle. I think it's safe to say I win.

Yeah Laura, you totally win. And you're young yet. Scary.

I haven't broken anything recently, those were all when I was little. My most recent bone related injury was about two years ago, I had a problem with my wrist and had to wear a brace on my arm for over six months and it pushed all the bones in my right wrist together, now it's about half the size of my left wrist. And I walk with a permenant limp from when I torn the ligament in my ankle.

I did a lot of damage to myself as a kid too because I was a rambunctious tomboy. But I never broke a bone till I was in my 20's. And that was the big toe I broke kicking a metal door during an argument with my parents. I was wearing Converse All Stars. If you plan to kick a metal door, don't do that. Not smart.

Here's a good one, if it's raining outside and you feel the need to skateboard, think twice before you decide to ride it down the stairs. That's how I blew my knee.

That last one sounds really stupid of me to do... but I was eight and bored. Boredom doesn't sit will with eight year olds.

As stupid as those guys are, I was probably dumber than them when I was little. But all kids are to some extent, some kids just don't grow out of it. And some kids injure themselves to the point where they can't act like idiots anymore. The ligament tearing did that for me, and it wasn't even my fault... my brother hit me with a shopping cart that was weighted down with over 400 pounds of sand.

Jeez Laura, you've definitely got me beat on the klutziness. I'm also prone to accidents, but my claim to fame was having five major head injuries before I turned six years old. More recently it's been broken wrists/toes and concussions I do find that if I move at a slower pace, I do less damage to myself. I'm always rushing for absolutely no reason.

Yeah, Brenna, it's the same thing for me. Being in a big furry hurry all the time. And being impatient.

I've never had a head injury... that's the one thing my doctors could never figure out about me, I'd fall on my head and break my ankle. I'm very hard headed

Well, okay, I think I'm the odd one out here. (Luckily.) Not broken a single bone in my life (that I know of), and I hope it stays that way. I was also a tomboy as a kid, and outside with the farm animals all the time. I fell off donkeys and horses, I feel out of trees. I've fallen on gravel and stones and concrete. Never did more than get scratches and bruises. A minor concussion once when I was around 8.
Worst thing I remember is that I must be allergic to horse fly bites. And there were tons of them around the donkeys all the time. I got bitten plenty of times, and those things always swelled to the size of saucers. I once had three on my foot at the same time and the whole ankle and foot swelled to twice its size. It was nasty. I must have been around 15.
I've had a car accident when I ran into one when crossing the street when I was 12 or 13. There was a huge truck blocking my view I and I thought the road was clear when I crossed. It wasn't. A Mercedes hit me just below the knee. I had to stay in the hospital for three days because they were afraid I had done more serious damage to my calf muscle. Turned out it was all right (it didn't even hurt that much) and I could go home again after those three days and I never needed crutches. It was scary enough.
So here's to strong bones and a healthy body. Although I guess "healthy" doesn't really apply when you look at all the back problems I'm having.

No broken bones for me either (as I said before), but well, I guess I can't call my body really healthy since I was born with SWS which also includes having vein problems, especially in winter (which sucks), the glaucoma and the fact that one arm and one leg is bigger than the other one. This is what sucks the most, at least for me. I have to be careful with buying shoes because the left one needs a bigger sole and I also can't buy most of the clothes I like because the bigger arm doesn't always fit in normal sleeves.

Here's some visual weirdness for you guys. My friend Soya and I went to this place on Saturday called "Sinneswald" (= "Sense Forest"). It's a patch of forest on a hill with all sorts of sculptures placed right in there among the grass and trees. The overall theme was "Give and Take". It's the first time I was there and of course I took some artsy-fartsy pictures that I'd love to share.
Means "I will take your child away from you".
Soya took this one.

Yeah, I'll bet you start seeing all sorts of things if you go there when you're on a trip. LOL (We weren't. I swear!)

Yeah, Anne. It basically means if you're on a high.
I would never be able to go there... I'm always high

I'd kill to be high right now. Except that I have never been high, nor do I plan on being high in the near future. But seriously, anything to take my mind off of school, lol. I am so incredibly sick of homework. Where's winter break when you need it?
