I went to see the apartment today after work. It was nice, but too small. I wouldn't mind the really small kitchen and bathroom, but the livingroom was also very small and I wouldn't get all of my stuff in there. So I have to look for a new one.

From experience, I would estimate you look at at least five apartments before you find one that you like enough to want it. You shouldn't compromise too much when you look for a place to stay and have a limited amount of money. You want to end up staying for years in that place, so you'll have to like it enough for that to happen. Crossing fingers that you'll find something soon, though! Hang in there. Keep looking.

I got the 80 gigabyte ipod classic and its better than my nano.
The G song haha

I have an 80 gig too. Compared to my friends nanos, it's the biggest, most combersome thing in the world.
But is it a classic or a video iPod? I didn't think they made classics anymore...

Yeah, iPod videos are huge, but only because they can hold movies, TV shows, and video games. Huuuuge music buffs might use up the entire 20,000 song limit it has, but moves and everything take up a lot of space.

Here's a chapter in the book "Things You Don't Need To Experience".
We heard a heavy thump outside just a few minutes ago. Turns out a pidgeon just hit the side of our office building somewhere above us (my office is on the ground floor). It didn't survive. And now it's lying just in front of our window.

Poor birdy.
How come you never see baby pidgeons? You only see the big ones that poop everywhere, you never see the little babies.

I had a similar experience a few years ago, only that it wasn't a pigeon.

I went out today to practice parellel parking for my driving test on Friday and I totally blew. So now I'm worried I'm gonna fail my test again and I just really want to get my stupid license. There's no place I would even need parellel park at within 50 miles of my town, so I'm never gonna use it and it's the only thing keeping me from passing.
It's just annoying because I know I can pass, I know I can park too usually. I just choke when it really matters.

And too late about Private Practice... my mom's watching Little Miss Sunshine. I'm giving up on that show.
Offline
That sucks, both things. I know what you mean about choking. And damn, bummer that you're not watching the show.

Yeah, Private Practice just can't compare to Grey's Anatomy for me... I think I expected too much from it and it didn't match up.
Offline
It's not really supposed to compare. It's tonally very different, the pace is slower. The only thing that really carried over is the snappy dialog. I like it on it's own terms. But then I really like that group of actors, so...

I agree, Private Practice is completely different. And, like Deb, I like it just fine. Deb once said that on PP you wanna hug everyone and on GA you wanna slap everyone. That rings true for me. I will surely keep watching PP. And I tried not to expect anything of it. That worked out just fine because I actually think it's a really good show. So far.

Hey guys!
Haven't been around much as of late. Things here have been really busy. I've been working, taking care of the lil guy, plus our SW group was working with the Balloon Fiesta here, as well as doing several fundraisers and a meet and greet at the airport for the pilots of the Darth Vader Hot Air Balloon. They flew in from Belgium for the fiesta and we had a great time with them.
Oh, and tonight......
I saw Weird Al in concert, got to hang out backstage and got to meet the man himself!
It was awesome!
I hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to say HI and let ya know I'm still alive!

I love Al, Sean. My friend Dave dragged me to see him live and it was really one of the best shows I've ever seen. His band is great and they go all out with the costumes and stuff. Definitely worth seeing.
Here's a bit of trivia, I heard Alice Cooper get interviewed on Da Bone Yard on XM a few months back and they asked him who he thought put on a stage show that would rival what he used to do. They suggested Rob Zombie. Alice said, nope, his favorite stage show is Weird Al. He ADORES Al. I thought that was awesome.
Dave will be sooooooo jealous that you got to hang backstage with him.
