Watched this movie last night and I really liked it. Nice to see a romantic comedy/drama with no ghosts or aliens or time travel or witches, et al. Just a couple of people of different ages and different backgrounds who fall in love and then have to deal with all of that, the things that keep them separated. Anybody seen it?
One of the reasons I wanted to see it is that Bryan Greenberg was the romantic lead. I'm a big fan of HBO's Unscripted, a show about struggling actors in which most everyone plays themselves. On that show, we got to see Bryan audition for this movie and then the show followed him to New York to shoot it. So it was very cool to see the end product. I really enjoyed the movie. Everyone was terrific. Especialy Jon Abrahams who was on Boston Public for a while.
I definitely recommend the movie.
Right now, I'm watching Chumscrubber, which some people say is similar to Alpha Dog. Just watching it because I like Jamie Bell. Has anyone seen Undertow? Man, that's an intense little movie. Jamie is soooooo good.
Why look, there's Justin Chatwin, with a very goofy 70's glam hairdo! EeeGods!

Prime is that movie with Uma Thurman falling in love with that 17 years younger guy, right? I watched it when it was in the cinema here and I just loved it. I loved Meryl Streep, she did an awesome job with that movie! LOL
And speaking of stupid German titles for foreign movies, I have to say that for that movie they chose a title I really liked. They called it Couchgeflüster, which means something like "couch whispering" and I think that fits really good. It makes sense in connection with the movie.
Maybe I'll rent it on DVD some time, I really wanna watch it in English, too.
I hugged the Seeker!
