Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I downloaded the episode even though you said he doesn't have much screen time in it. Back when I was working on gathering old Chris stuff, I gathered old Michael stuff as well, so now I have this huge folder of his work on my external hard drive, hahaha. I can't help but add to it when he's in new things, since I think he's an impressive actor and obviously works really hard.

Haven't yet seen the episode. I'm a bit nervous to watch it at all because I have never once seen an episode of Numb3rs, so I'm sure I'll be rather confused throughout the entire thing.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

If you have questions about it, just ask Anne or Deb or me. We all watch the show more or less regularly. I can give you a quick introduction into the characters and the premise if you like.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Anton and Zachary are the only people I know. Though the Asian guy looks vaguely familiar. I wasn't even aware of the fact that they'd announced the rest of the cast. I should go and look up the names.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

The Asian guy is from Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, Bones will be played by Karl Urban, Scotty is the guy from Hot Fuzz, Kirk is Chris Pine.

Edit: It's Karl Urban, not Keith Urban. Sorry about that.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Michael Welch's CSI: Miami episode will air on November 12, 2007. It's called "Permanent Vacation":
A family is in Miami vacationing from Canada when one of their sons is killed.

And, no way, they cast Karl Urban as McCoy in Star Trek XI? I didn't really recognize him in the picture that Illinois posted.

Wait, is it Karl Urban or Keith Urban? And if it's Keith Urban, is it THAT Keith Urban? Sorry, I'm so confused. :clueless:

Corrected the posting about Urban.

It's Karl not Keith Urban.

I promise you... Dean Cain = dad, Leslie Hope = mom & Michael = dead son.  That sure is one good-looking family.  But I'm not sure I can stomach that show to see Mike as a dead kid.

Oh, you mean you don't wanna see the coroner woman poking around in his dead meat? (Sorry, I'm gross like that. I love CSI, but not the Miami variety.)

You know I'm not a big fan of procedurals in general, and the gross-out trio of CSI shows in particular.

Yay, Michael's NOT playing the corpse in CSI.  OK, I might actually watch it now.

OK, I'm watching it.  Mike's the brother of the vic.  God, Caruso's such a cheeseball!

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

He IS, isn't he?  I saw Jay Mohr say on "Dinner for Five" that he won't make eye contact with people he's acting with.  And that it was very disconcerting and irritating.  David Milch was on the same DfF episode and told stories about how much HE hated Caruso.  It was pretty comical!
