Re: Avatars

These are Carol's fault... even though she really didn't ask for them, she suggested them.  The power of suggestion is a dangerous thing with me.   Three from the same scene in the episode Common Thread from JoA.

The coloring is so weird in those...

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I should've know you'd to this.  (After all you got me fig leaf man in just minutes wink).  I really appreciate it!  I still need to figure out how to make those things, but for now I don't need to.  You're the best.

Carol, I finished the other CT avatars for you.  Hope you don't mind that I'm posting them here.

I think he looks sessy in the last one (if you ignore how blurry he is):drool:

Re: Avatars

The first and third ones are my favorites... I like the tree for some reason.  But his eyes in the last one are great.  So dark, so intense.

Re: Avatars

Thank you SO MUCH, Laura!!!  I really appreciate this.  Yeah, they're all a tiny bit grainy.  That's because the quality of my screencaps with this software is kind of poor.  They're all so small, though, that I don't think it matters too much.  They're great avatars, Laura!  Just what I wanted.  I can almost hear Adam talking: "What? No! I could never do that to you."  "That's the hard part."

Deb only prefers the second one because it's more up close and personal. wink  Hmmm.  Decisions, decisions...

Re: Avatars

Um, can I ask... why the hell are you not using OUR screencaps to do this?  They're not dark and grainy.

Re: Avatars

You're welcome.  The quality of the screencaps worried me a bit, because my graphics maker isn't the best.   Some programs can sharpen the image to perfect quality... mine just makes it green when I try to sharpen it, which is the reasoning for the weird shading on his chin.

Re: Avatars

If you want, I can re-screencap that scene and see if I can get you those shots a little less grainy straight off the DVDs. Just let me know.

I think I found them in the gallery after scrolling through and comparing.  I can redo them.

Re: Avatars

I just looked at the avatars.  I didn't think to look at the screencaps.  D'oh! :embarrassed:  Anyway, I think I've bothered people enough for the rest of the year.  I think all of them are adorable, anyway.  You really can't go too far wrong.  Thanks for the help, Laura!!!

I really don't mind.  Do you like the close up or with the tree better, so I can remake those? wink

Re: Avatars

Ok, here's the redos of the other CT ones and a few new ones I made from the stash I had sitting on my computer.   I'm not sure which of the CT avatars are crappier looking hmm
