Re: Randomness

I saw a movie he was in pretty recently, called Catch And Release. I really liked the movie, but I never realized that Timothy Olyphant played one of the main guys until the end of the movie. So I guess you can assume that he's not exactly on my radar. wink

He's cool.  But I wouldn't see Hitman if you paid me.  Just not my cuppa.

Re: Randomness

He was great in Deadwood.  In Catch and Release, I think he got the girl, I can't really remember.  I liked it, but it didn't stick with me.  It was meringue.

Re: Randomness

I saw Catch And Release in one of the sneak previews in April (that's when you don't know beforehand what they're gonna show, and you get to see it one to several weeks before the official release). I did a few of them before The Invisible came out, in the hopes of catching it early. (They never showed it as sneak. sad). I think I saw three sneaks then, and Catch And Release was the only movie I halfway liked. I don't remember much of it, though. Which shows that it didn't impress me very much either. The other two movies that I saw then were Wild Hogs :puke: and Shooter, which was an okay movie.

Re: Randomness

My cousin works at Foot Locker and they got a big shipment of insanely popular shoes... she said at 6 this morning people were sending their kids under the gate and they were getting trampeled when the adults were able to rush in.

You know people are crazy when they literally step on kids to get a 175$ pair of shoes. roll

Re: Randomness

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.  I wouldn't go near a retail store today if you paid me.  Black Friday for me means never leave the house and watch a marathon of something.  As soon as this movie I'm watching is over, I'll be marathoning something.  Just don't know what yet...

Re: Randomness

You know what I realized last night? Wentworth was in the opening credit sequence for almost the entire run of Buffy even though he only had a tiny guest role in a first season ep.

Re: Randomness

If you ever see that credit sequence, he's the one who's looking at his hand and screaming as a monster rips out of his flesh.  The ep he was in was called "Go Fish".  He played a swimmer named Gage who, like the rest of the swim team, has a sea monster rip out of him.  I guess it was such a cool FX shot they just had to use it for the credits.

Re: Randomness

I had to work overtime again yesterday. roll
I mean, I wouldn't mind the overtime that much, it was just that it was Friday and it was, like, half an hour before we usually go home that my boss came with that "Could you please do that, it won't take long." and in the end,it DID take two more hours because we couldn't figure out why the printer wasn't working the way we wanted to. Aaaah! :witsend: (You see, I'm not mad at my boss, I'm mad at the printer. big_smile )
And then this morning my dad wakes me up because there is some guy on the phone. But that was kind of great because he called because I sent an online application to one of his apartments and now I'm having an appointment with him on Wednesday. Yay! :applause:

That's cool, congrats. On the apartment, I mean. Not so cool about the overtime. Do you get paid for overtime or can you take time off instead afterwards?

Re: Randomness

Well, the thing is, I am already missing some work hours because I have to start one hour later than the others at the moment, so the other boss said, I can work longer one day a week. This day has been Tuesday, like I told you. I didn't plan to stay longer on Friday too. But well, it means that I am getting back more lost hours. LOL
