No, of course not. But JoA was the hardest choice to make.

Wow, you guys picked some awesome scenes I was thinking of!
1) Best Opening A/J scene
Hmmm.. opening.. opening.. when Joan begged Adam to do the planting determinate project with her. I also liked the subtle part where Adam was doing situps, and she put her head on his knees. <33
2) Best Closing A/J scene
It's not really a closing scene, but it was towards the end. During "Bringeth it On," I nearly died when Adam gave Joan the cheerleader craft he made. Too cute. I especially liked when she touched his arms and corrected him when he said Jane and he was lost for words ;P How many guys are like that nowadays? C'mon! Oh, and as he was leaving, he turned back and gave her one last look (without her knowing ). Like the saying goes, "always have hope for the guy who looks back one last time"-- err, something like that anyway. Of course there were loads of other scenes I absolutely loved, but this takes the cake for me.
3) Best Kiss
I would have to say the kiss in "Do the Math"- I think that's the one, anyway. It was the episode where Adam finally broke it off with Iris and they played "Collide". It was the kiss I was waiting for after "Jump"!
4) Best Joan/Other moment
I will always love the scene where Joan got Luke the kite he always wanted for his birthday. That was very sweet and unselfish of her.
5) Best Adam/Other moment
Of course I'll have to do with an Adam/Joan moment again. I LOVED it, during "No Bad Guy", when Joan put her injured foot on his shoulder. You could tell he was a little excited by that. Or, caught off-guard, but I know he liked it!
6) Best use of a song for an A/J moment.
Hmmm.. I'm not good at knowing the songs..

Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."
Adam: "Oh, no. I don't care if you're a cheerleader, subdefective, or whatever. I just like hanging out with you because.. you're Jane."

Hey what about that last look back at the beginning of The Gift, when Joan drops him off at the hotel? Both of them looked back at each other. It was soooooooo sweet. I just melt everytime I see that.

She put her injured foot on Grace's shoulder and she knocked it off. She then put it on Adam's thigh. Iris kind of glared but didn't say anything. Adam certainly didn't seem to mind it being there.
I loved the kiss toward the end of "Anonymous". When Joan tells Adam that she has been dishonest with him because she was afraid of ruining what they had. He told her that what she'd been trying to hide from him was what he most loved about her. She kissed him and they touched noses as she pulled back.

Isn't it also in Anonymous where they have that kiss I love where after they break it and she backs away, he just keeps looking in her eyes and doesn't pull back, like she's just taken his breath away? Isn't it when she says, "There's a lot you don't know about me, Mr. Rove."?
God, that's adorable and sessy. He did that a lot, lingered after she pulled away...

True, Deb, that was an awesome, subtle scene as well. I just love the innocence between Adam and Joan <3
And yes, justme, I remember that. However, as much as I like Grace, I liked it better when she put it on Adam ;P Was that the episode they did the Eskimo kiss? I was trying to remember where I saw that. I could have sworn it was in the season two though.

They rubbed noses again in "Queen of the Zombies" before the play began. I think they did that instead of kissing because they didn't want to mess up her makeup. That was soo cute.
I don't remember the "Anonymous" scene you're talking about, Deb. I've really gotta finish unpacking!

There was another Eskimo kiss in S2. Can't remember what ep though...
There's a TON of subtle, beautiful moments between those two. And you might be interested to know that a great many of them were unscripted. Amber and Chris had wonderful chemistry and they really understood those characters and that relationship so they made up a lot of the looks and the touches. That, for me, is one of the things that makes this 'ship so compelling and special.

I think "QotZ" is the one Sophia is talking about. And there were a lot of nice almost throw-away moments between the two of them. I remember another in "Queen of the Zombies" when "Johnny Godway" gave the cast and crew a pep talk just before the curtain went up. I think it was right after the Eskimo kiss. Adam put his arm around Joan. You could barely see them, there was such a crowd there. But it's what true to what A&J would've done I think. He knew she'd be nervous so he touched her.

Yep, QOTZ, you;re right!
Arm around the shoulders, that's a great catch, Carol. I can't say I remember that. Gotta look for it. But that's what great actors who are in tune with their characters do. It's wonderful!

Oh, the scene where they looked back to each other when she dropped him off at the hotel was in "The Gift" (I think?); Deb didn't mean in "Anonymous"- we just went off tangent with all the glory that is Adam Rove
AND YES, CAROL! I was talking about "QotZ"! YES! Thank you! I loved that episode. It helped that Mike Damus played Johnny Broadway ;P
I kind of figured that Chris and Amber did things off-scripted because there were times when Chris/Adam laughed/smiled and I don't think he was supposed to.. haha.

One of the things that made Adam so fun to watch is that he didn't react to things like most people would. I love that thing where he doesn't like to be touched. And I love that he and he alone almost always notices God. And the way he talks...
Yep, glorious indeed.

Yeah, I remember someone mentioning how only Adam really had close encounters with God. I never really noticed it before until I began re-watching the episodes when I got the DVDs. Oh, how I wish there was a third season!
Ooo, I loved how calm and soothing his voice usually were.
Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."

And deep. On my computer speakers, his voice in S2 is sooooo deep and bassy it just... gets to me.

AHHH!! Don't we all! ;(
I never get tired of the DVDs, so the two seasons will do for now-- as much as I'd like 'closure.'
Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."

You know, I've had each DVD set pretty much since it came out and I've never been able to put them away on my DVD shelf. They stay right within reach just in case I need a fix. Which I often do.

You know, I was teasing that idea about a JOA movie as well. I realize that idea actually would be pretty nifty.. just because I'd like answers and again, closure. I want more, dangit. *shakesfist*
