Finally Got Season 1...

...And I loved it. I bought season 1 about a week ago and watched it and I think it's a great show. I just can't believe it took me this long to buy it. Anyway, I can finally say I get what people mean about Adam. Chris is amazing in it. Also, Michael Welch in it is also a great actor. I seen him on L&O:SVU awhile ago and thought he was good, then found out he's in JOA was a nice surprise.

Anyway, I am soo glad I got this show and I will be looking for season 2 next.

That's awesome!! I think you'll love all of the episodes! Yeah they turn Chris's character into a jerk. The whole storyline behind it though is realistic, but sad.

I agree, I don't think what happens in 2x19 is realistic at all, at least not for Adam. For other boys maybe. But the Adam we've grown to love for over one and a half seasons just wouldn't do that. You'll see eventually. Don't spoil yourself. And I'm really glad you loved season one. It's such a great show. I still miss it.

Hey everyone! I took Sisterdeb's suggestion and joined the boards! I am so glad to be finally conversing with other JOA fans without people constantly asking me, "what's that?" or correcting me and insisting I mean Joan of Arc *shakeshead*. Anywhoo! So did you find season two, or watched it yet, Mutant_Enemy? I finished both seasons in less than two weeks, I think. It would have been earlier if finals and papers did not get in the way. I actually did not study or worked hard as much because of that; the show's worth the B's I got anyway, haha.

We're all pretty much hardcore shippers around here too. And TeeJay, Laura, Carol and I have been working on an epic fanfic that reunites Adam and Joan when they're 22. We love them and we pay far, far too much attention to the tiny details of the show and the characters.

That's not true, Laura. Think about it. What you write is the little details of these characters lives at whatever stage. You write moments. And those moments are filled with information and lush detail, if you know these guys as well as we do.
